Can we trade Cary and Considine for a wacky waving inflatable arm guy. It would at least distract the other qbs in coverage.
Why Considine? The special teams had a pretty good night. He's done nothing since the preseason to warrant any kind of harassment.

Cary Williams is a bad CB who has been well coached by pagano to have a break out year.

His is heavily coached player with little attribute. When you let him play free, he is a complete wreck.

These 3 weeks made it clear to me that he needs to be canned/shipped off soon. I dont know how many times Tom Brady targeted Cary, but every time some dumb playcalling didnt work on 3rd down, targeting Cary(whoever WR he was covering) was a safety blanket for easy 1st down.

Right now, he is Frank Walker. Its almost like a dejavu all over again. We had 1 good year of having good secondary, now it looks to be back in the dumps.

Jimmy smith gave up maybe one catch all night that i recall and i think that was on a zone coverage play and he just happened to make the tackle. He needs to be on the outside the entire game. Him and webb. Cary will have to settle for the chris carr role

In the 2013 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select:

David Amerson, NC State

Cause he actually knows how to turn his head around and catch the ball unlike someone on our secondary.

I have a hypothesis: Cary's been getting off the field training sessions from Frank Walker. That's all I got; I can't understand what the heck this guy is doing otherwise.

He looked HORRIBLE. And he rejected a contract from us, may be good for us! Brady abused him, he just played terrible. I haven't seen a CB get abused like that since Frank Walker days. Just horrilbe.

You don't have to be HOF QB or coach to know that if you need a first down with third and long, 9 out of 10 times you will have it if you throw it to whom Cary is covering.

Next man up!

I heard the Jets need a CB. They're willing to trade a 3rd rounder for Cary Williams and sign him to that 3 year $15 Million that he rejected.

I know it's not right for me to say, and it's reactionary but I don't think Gorrer would have let all that happened.

That would be to awesome. Make it a 2nd since they're desperate.

is brandon lloyd a hall of famer? i don't think so. its not like he was covering megatron. at least jimmy held his end of the deal. i can't count on 3 hands how many balls were thrown cary's way it was ridiculous. every big 3rd down he let us down that couldn't get us off the field. i think its corey grahams turn to show us what he can do. its been evident since preseason he can't keep his receiver under 100 yards or something i dont get it. i think we should follow the next man up philosophy, not just because of injury but performance as well and he doesn't deserve it so far. sorry for having a rant but today was worse than having foxworth.

Cary has been pretty bad, but I think part of the problem is scheme. A lot of off coverage allows some of these quick outs to make him look bad. Also the pass-rush has been non-existent without blitxing extra defenders. 4-5 seconds is a long time to cover for anyone.

Anyone else see Suggs' tweet "3 down, 3 more to go"?

hopefully the jets were too busy to watch the game then. this guy doesn't deserve a 5th the way he's played this year. if we get anything higher than that, i would say the ravens FO has some serious magic then.

Williams has been getting burnt a lot and it started at the end of last november and just continues week after week. I am also willing to see Ji,,y be the #2 guy and let cary sit out. If this is what you consider playing for a big contract then he will be broke.

Brutal performance by Cary, lines up 8 yards off of the WR and gets torched. Gotta step it up
He's 6 foot 2. The guy should be pressing his man! Cary was a solid corner last year when he was playing press man coverage. I don't know if it's Teryl Austin or Pees but they need to stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Let Cary play his game.

Are we seriously about to go in on our dbs?Wheres the thread about our pass rush.Brady and Vick had no pressure put on them. When you only get 1 sack and allow the greatest qb of all time 4 secs to throw youre dbs stand no chance.

Good thing, next year's CB Class is deep, so we should be able to land one of the 1st round CBs. It's a ridiculous passing league now, so we need all the CBs we can get.

Cary was beaten like a rented mule but quite a few of the catches he gave up were contested grabs or slants that would have beaten Hall of Famers. Unless the pass rush significantly improves or Webb's play slips and QBs start targeting him more, Cary will probably continue to get abused.

In Cary's defense, we were playing against the Tom Brady and the Patriots. We all know that Tom Brady WILL find a way. However, with that said he should've adjusted in the game. I didn't see that. All I saw was him getting burned over and over. Maybe he should play more press coverage, throw the WRs off their timings.

I'll say it again. I think its more scheme than his play. He plays 10 yards off and thats all scheme. all his passes or short throws. The qb wouldn't even take a 3 step drop. Snap and bang. You can't defend them when your so far off. He's a big physical corner let him get in the wr face, he loves the physical side of the game. He's a great tackler, long arms, he could match up one one man on man with probably almost any no.2 in the league. same as jimmy, but pees insist on playing an off zone coverage allowing underneath throws. How can you blame that on him.

I haven't seen Cary beat one on one in man coverage much, in fact the last one of note I remember was the Wallace td in the second pitts game and he stuck with him fot seven seconds. That's what he is good at, but pees wont play to their strengths. And for the record that td against pitts was the last one Cary was held accountable for.

I think he's been overcompensating for his struggles against the deep ball and now he's not making the plays on short routes that he normally does. He's been letting up 1st downs but not allowing much YAC. I'd rather he make plays on the ball and give up the occasional big play. At least our D might be able to get off the field.
This, it's as if he doesn't trust what he sees
But again I think he over achieved last year and jimmy should be starting over him
