I'm a huge Flacco supporter but couldn't help but laugh at this FAKE NEWS ARTICLE from The Onion.

To Mods: If this becomes some out of hand Flacco debate thread like everything else on these boards feel free to shut it down. I just thought it was humorous and worth sharing.

its really sad how much hate he gets and i just don't understand it... i never hear anything about ryan and his talents are covered up by 2 elite wrs. with joe, 1 bad half and its like the end of the world for the media. ESPN and NFL - "he played bad for 2 quarters, he sucks" thats the logic they use from week to week.

Maybe I don't remember it correctly, but I don't think Eli got this kind of hate when he came into the league and his performance during his early career makes Joe look like Montana. And I compare it to him because they seem similar in personality.

I'm all for making a little bit of fun when its actually funny (see the Flacco-Sam the Eagle Muppet comparison from today's Late For Work), but I didn't find any of that funny. Poorly written to the effect of thinking they're clever. I guess I don't find it funny because I know Flacco wasn't the only one sucking on offense in the second half.

[/quote]I think its a clever satire.... I obviously don't know the intentions of the comic who wrote it but I view it as mocking Flacco's disproportionate number of critics.
