Yeah I have tremendous respect for Vernon and he's a classy player, but like you said, he's not a Raven. Besides, Vernon hasnt fought the odds like Torrey. Torrey's been said to be raw, can't run his routes and catches with his body. A lot of our fans have given the guy a hard time. He did give up on one route tonight in a cross route, but he saved an interception and had two touchdowns. I have a brother and I couldn't imagine losing him. When I read Torrey's tweet before the game telling us to tell our family we love them, I did just that to my Dad. I'm so grateful to have classy players like Torrey Smith. And not only should Belichek be fined, but Wilfork should be as well. Immediately after the refs said it was good, he took his helmet off and went straight for the ref.

It's amazing that there was so many penalties called but the game started off with the refs not throwing any flags for Lil over half of the 1st quarter.

I couldn't say everything I wanted to say here, cause I was getting too off topic. I am proud of that team, but that was back in 2003. Different coach now and Gary Williams couldn't recruit after that. Torrey Smith had 127 yards, 2 TD's and 21 ypc. And like I said earlier. I was wrong about it coming down to who had the ball last due to both teams not having defenses. Our Defense came up big to stop them on and force them to punt. D needs work, but I'm really impressed with Upshaw. That guy has a motor. I really wish we hadn't let Gorrer go. Williams is awful in coverage. Smith got beat once by Lloyd, but Cary Williams could've passed for Andy Dalton. He got beat like a red headed step child by Lloyd and other receivers

What a game!!

Offense was very rusty at the start but when it got going... wow. Torrey Smith is a baller. After what he went through to come out with such a performance.. mad respect. Flacco started out very flat, often staring down his receivers but you can't argue with that kind of stat sheet he put up. Also, another clutch drive for the final FG (which looked good anyway from where I was (248))
Defense subpar at best, no pressure led to Brady having all day in the pocket to find his receivers. Cary Williams, you're a disgrace. You're all smack but no play to back it up - burned big-time today by Lloyd. Not looking so smart now turning down that contract extension.

However, the talk of the game, sadly, will be the refs. And that's how it will continue to be until the league gets its stuff together and brings back the real ones. The "bulls-" chant on national television was one of the best things I've ever been a part of at a game, hopefully it gets the message across that these people are just not cutting it.

You know, he doesn't even seem like the same person he was back in 2000 to (like) 2006. Back then, Belichick was very calm, took things very business like and just let game take place. Then, in 2007, the whole running-up the score "debate" began. Although, I thought the entire thing was blown out of proportion, he seemed like another person.

But, now? Bill Belichick is getting angry over everything. Yelling at players and the refs. It's almost like he's become a parody of his (former) self. Heck, last year, I (sarcastically) joked about how the Patriots using players like Julian Edelman on defense and Belichick having to go deep to fill-out his positions was causing a great deal of stress on him. Sadly, I think the "downfall" is inevitable, at this point...

Humongous win tonight, and couple that with a Steelers choke job in Oakland, and it was a (relatively) great day under the circumstances.
