Fantasy Football is Exciting. I love the Entire Culture. I love the Draft. I love the personalites of the people playing. I even love the one guy at work that thinks he is the best FANTASY Player in the world and his league is the most high tech. It's Fun, Funny, Crazy and I enjoy it.

most people are just really dumb when they tell players that. I met Greg Jennings once in the DC Airport shortly after they had lost to NYG. I just said hey whats up, it was fun watching you play this year. But people are dumb and get all starstruck. They're people too, act normal, not hard. I would get tired of it too I think if I were them. Think about it - no one cares about someone else's fantasy team. Why would a player want to hear that nonsense.

then you start cheering for mike wallace, or the pit defense to do good... for what?! a 100 dollar pot. Really devoted fans there. I don't like fantasy much either, people checking their phone every two seconds AT the game. Your already watching a game live, why do you need to check on 8 players that DONT play for the Ravens?

I play fantasy football and I love it. However I would happily lose all those games in exchange for a Ravens win.
[/quote]Exactly! I was playing my dad the home opener and he had me by 90 points, I have Rice, Tucker, D so Im a homer lol I ended up beating my dad and he was quite happy to lose lol

haha I do the same thing. I can't have a fantasy team without atleast 1 Ravens player. I have Rice, Pitta, and Tucker and was going to get their D until it was taken 4 spots before me. I was sad.

To each their own, I finally caved to my friends and joined their 12 team league in 2009 and played that year and the next (should have won the championship that first year, my 138pt per game averaging team threw up 70 the first round of playoffs though, I made up for it in '10 and walked away with $800 and said, well I've proven everything I need to). I found that I couldn't simply enjoy football like I used to because I would get so frustrated by who gets touches in the games. "No, don't throw it to Maclin! Throw it to Jackson!" I recall fuming as much at my Dad's one game, much to his amusement. I also remember when the Ravens played the Vikings in '09, my opponent had Rice and he absolutely killed me in the game with like 30+ pts. I remember saying, "as long as we win, I don't care about all those points staring me down." A missed FG later, I was cursing Hauschka, fantasy, and everything in general...hahaha

The way I see it, if I were to re-enter the fantasy world it would be baseball despite me only being a casual fan. At least there, if your guy is in the batting order or is scheduled to pitch, you know your guy is guaranteed to have a shot at getting you points, unlike in football, hoping that your receiver gets more looks than the others on a team or your running back in a committee gets a decent amount of carries.

I just recently (last year) got into fantasy football and I absolutely love it! I have at least 1 Raven on every team and no Squeelers EVER. More to the point, I follow most of the Ravens on Twitter and have never once asked for a good game for fantasy football. They need to be focused to bring home something much more important: the Vince Lombardi Trophy. So before you tweet one of our players about fantasy, think about the trophy, the rings, and the pride of bringing them home to Charm City!

GO RAVENS!
