Week 3 Discussion (Other Games)

Week 3 kicks off in Charlotte on Thursday as Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers host the Super Bowl Champions on Thursday Night. Hakeem Nicks has already been ruled out of the game and so has Ahmad Bradshaw.

I feel like the is a trap game for NYG. On the road on a short week, with injuries on offense and a bad and banged up secondary. I'll take the Panthers in that one.

Only six teams are 2-0, and at least two of them are bound to fall this week with the PHI/ARZ game and the ATL/SD game. Those should be intriguing matchups.

Without Nicks and Bradshaw, this becomes a tossup... and, in that case, I always take the [u][b]home[/b][/u] team. Carolina it is.

I tend to agree. I have been awful with picks this year, but I think the Giants will struggle on the short week with so many injuries.

Cam Newton is the most overrated QB in the league, unless you're talking to a guy who has Tebow or Stafford in his top 7. He's flashy but still too inexperienced. He looked good last week against the Saints, yes, but the Saints will wind up with the worst defense of all time.

I'm a huge fan of David Wilson. I can't believe he hasn't done nothing so far this year. And also Andre Brown beat him for starting job.

Yeah I don't understand Thursday Night Football, I'd rather them just had Saturday Night Football every week.

Plus it really screws up players schedules, and preparation. I don't get it neither. I know they added it because of all the money they make off it but why not just play it like you said, on Saturday?
