How can we fix our D?!

Having Kruger back could help some, Pollard's injury was significant last week.
Jimmy and Cary both need to play tighter coverage, become more physical at the line since the Refs are letting more contact go right now.
Right now it seems like more 4 man fronts could benefit us line-ups like Jones/Upshawn-Ngata-Cody-Mcphee... Ngata has to get doubled Cody could eat up a blocker or 2 at times, it should be stout against the run and currently our outside backers aren't getting to the QB....
I think Upshawn will get stronger throughout the season in terms of his pass rush....
The team did not cut Kindle after preseason like I thought they would because of his pass rush potential and well what are we waiting on throw him out there on obvious passing downs and let's see him try speed rush or something, give him a try at least.....

Play Press/Bump and Run, Play Reed close at line (like jets game), more stunts, send 6 rushers... just do something that doesn't scream 500 yards of offense every week. its embarassing.

Defense looks like it has regressed back to the Mattison days, where our defense allowed huge chunk of yards.
Remember Frank Walker couple years back? Well he's back in the form of Cary Williams.
How did we fix our defense?
We can either change the D-Coordinator or just draft defense for next year to fit his scheme.
Dean Pees Defensive Coordinator Era in New England from 2006-2009.
Year - Scoring Defense
2006 - #2
2007 - #4
2008 - #8
2009 - #5
Tedy Bruschi (LB), Mike Vrabel (LB), Junior Seau (LB), Jerod Mayo (LB), Adalius Thomas (LB), Jarvis Green (LB), Ty Warren (DL), Richard Seymour (DL), Vince Wilfork (DL), Rodney Harrison (S), James Sanders (S), Brandon Meriweather (S), Asante Samuel (CB), Ellis Hobbs (CB), Leigh Bodden (CB).
They definitely had talent back during Pees' time, so it must be the adjusting period for the Ravens to fit his scheme anyways. We need to definitely focus adding more talent to our defense especially the Pass Rush and Secondary Department.

Let's stay tuned and see what happens as the season progresses.
I also think the Offense can actually help the defense this time around. Finally!

Haloti is already our DE, not the NT. The NT is usually Cody or Kemoeatu.
i think someone mention this in another thread but how about moving Haloti to DE instead of NT, i think that might help our pass rush.
