Where on the field was it, and if they brought Tucker out, how far would his kick had to have been?

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Six different times we faced either 3rd or 4th and 2 and we passed every time. We failed to convert them all. Why does this coaching staff insist on smashing their faces into a wall like this? I just don't get it.

Way outta his range. Or anyone's range for that matter. If we just coulda got into their territory I believe he would have won it for us.

trust me tucker wouldn't have made. if it was 60 hey go for it but it was much farther than that. i am still angry they made ray go to the sideline on the last play. we had time, just make rice come out of the backfield and go to the middle of the field. Why make Joe heave one towards the sideline where it would have no chance. Talk about adjustments, we threw 0 screens and that was dumb considering the pressure they put on in the 2nd half. also we could've used the quick passing game but cam wants to go for the 1st down on every passing play.

Could not agree with you more. Not sure who was covering RR on that final play, but he was at least a foot taller than him. Would have had to be a perfect pass and catch to get the ball over the defender and into Rice's hands. As we saw, Flacco had to throw the ball high, and Rice had almost no chance at getting the ball. Stupid play.

Well Flacco did say in his interview that the last plays came from Cam. It was evident Flacco wasnt in control the 2nd half. This team is so hot and cold, it's like when the other teams start catching up Cam goes in panic mode.

And the reason they start catching up is because we (for some reason) change our playcalling when we are in the lead. If it worked in the first half, why would we change it in the second half? It is illogical. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This happened numerous times last season where we came out strong, then Cam started doing run-run-pass-punt until the opponents mounted a comeback. Then we go into "throw on every down" mode, and end up with a loss or a narrow win.

Boggles my mind.

IMHO, egos far surpass football knowledge in the heads of our coaching staff.

Was I the only person who knew that the ball was getting thrown to Rice on this play? I was screaming it at my TV, knowing it was a bad idea.

I'm friends with many fans of different teams (I feel dirty, I know), and a lot of them think the same thing about their coaches. It's just the nature of the know-it-all aura of coaches who don't like being second-guessed by fans.

In a way, I understand the coaches' view because we wouldn't want to be second-guessed at our respective jobs -- the difference, however, is that coaches have to take that scrutiny because it comes with the territory.

i don't think it was a bad idea but i question why he made rice go to the sideline. he should have caught it over the middle, and we still would've spiked it and not had to use our last timeout with plenty of time left... but then again thats cam

Heres a quest ion. 3rd and 2. 2 timeouts around mid field with time on the clock and we're taking deep shot down field? BRILLIANT. Flacco needs to realize it's time to revolt and do his own thing. Be Willie Beeman in the huddle for all I care as long as we're winning. Cam Cameron is the anti efficiency when he doesn't have a full off season to game plan.
