In his defense it was a 62 yarder
True, but it actually looked like he had the leg for that one.

The sting of losing Stover is finally getting much needed closure...what a gem we found in Tucker.
Was wondering where you were. Yes, Cept Tucker has a Janikowski leg, we got a great addition to the squad.

Cary Williams~ Bench him. He looked horrid, I mean the Maclin TD is inexcusable. He seems to have no idea on what he's doing start the Jimmy chant, put in our second (potential) elite CB.
They were in Zone defense, Reed is the scape goat for the Maclin TD. He was playing Deep Zone and ran up when he saw Vick take off leaving Maclin wide open.

Blame Cary for whatever, but that play was 100% Ed Reed.

Understood, just takes away from your point when you are blaming a guy on a certain play that was 100% not his fault. I would put a different example up instead.

McPhee and McClellan turned in some pretty good performances according to PFF:
Many were skeptical about the Ravens’ ability to maintain their standing as an elite defense when Terrell Suggs went down in the offseason with a torn Achilles. If this performance is anything to go by, however, there are a pair of second-year players ready to step up. Pernell McPhee (+3.6), named our Secret Superstar for the Ravens from last season, achieved positive marks in all aspects of his game, collecting three quarterback disruptions in an overall solid display. With two hurries on only 10 rushes and a team-leading six stops, fellow sophomore Albert McClellan (+6.1) was the most impressive Baltimore defender.

McClellan stood out in all areas of the game, but especially against the run where he graded +3.7. Finishing the game with eight tackles (to lead the team) he recorded six defensive stops, more than doubling the next best mark belonging to Ray Lewis. If young players can continue to play this well, the Ravens’ D may not see the fall-off that many expected.

[McClellan also] played more snaps in this game (56) than all of last year (51).

We shouldn't even have a Positive Thread imo, because we shouldn't have so many neg. threads.

Lets get this straight, Yes the Ravens Offense didn't play up to there capabilities , no team plays great every game.

Im not making excuses but we all know the REFS are in fact changing the Outcome of these games. And it just wasn't this game, its happening around the league.

Even the Media are agreeing that the RAVENS got screwed , along with other teams Losing or winning because of these SCABS.

I'll be honest, when the New Refs were put in place in the preseason, i saw a few mistakes and honestly they were doing a decent job and thought they would get better the more games they called. BUT, they have actually gotten worse.

Don't blame the REFS, Blame the N.F.L for being so dam cheap because they don't want to pay more money. Its not like they can't afford it. The N.F.L as a corporation is more than a 100 billion dollar company.

I SEE IT AS COMPLETE GREED !!!!

Well her'es a positive...don't know if anyone mentioned this one but;

Bernie Pollard flat out nailed Brent Celek! Textbook , oldschool, knock your socks off hit.

A legitimate pro-football hit that Mr. Goodell can't complain about. Attaboy "Angry Man" and get well soon!

I agree with most of what you said.

Ray Rice had a monster first half and made the most of his carries and looked great. As the game went on in the second half, it seemed they realized how bad our o-line was looking and just kept dialing up the pass rush. On Rice's carries (and Pierce's carries) in the fourth quarter, they went no where.

Honestly IMHO on the third and 2, I personally would have liked to of seen Vonta in there. Not only can he open holes, he can pound it, and he can catch it. OK.....bring on the negatives.

You may be on to something. Our coaching staff did not make the proper adjustments in the second half. Putting Big Mac in there may have been a great idea, because Joe did not have any time at all in the 4th quarter, they were all over him like rabid dogs. We just seemed to stick with what was not working. The Eagles made the proper adjustment at halftime. However for us, I would have tried to make some changes and your suggestion may have been beneficial.

I do not think its greed on the part of the NFL. They want to start using full time refs (like so many of us want) and either need to make the old ref's union agree, or break them and start from scratch. The old refs want to keep their full time jobs and their part time (reffing) jobs but get more pay. They are dead set against full time refs. Or additional reffing teams or anything that will allow the NFL to improve the reffing of the old refs.

See Cary was getting some stick. For the record he hasn't been at fault for a td since the second pitts game last season, something like 10 games

Jacoby seems like a huge underrated player on our team this year considering he can hold on to the ball if he manages to get it at all...

Jacoby, like Pollard, is flourishing with the Ravens after leaving oil country. Yesssir!

I was shocked at how impressive he's been for our passing game seeing as how he was booted out of Hou because of his butterfingers. We have 2 receiver's that can blow the lid off at any time and defenses have to look at our offense in a different way thanks to his help.

Now all we need is several big returns from him and he'd be a star in Bmore.

Really excited about how Pollard has adapted to fit our D-unit..

You throw to the left you might get picked, throw to the right and you will get hit. It's like pick your poison lol.

Fun fact:
We are tied at 6th for sacks in the league.

Not bad seeing as how panic was set when Suggs went down.

Negative ppl begone.
Here we go, my wrap up

Positives
Flacco looked good, and outperformed Brady again. Three good games in a row
Torrey, and Jacoby open up a lot of space for Q
Pitta looked really good
Tucker, clutch
Ray rice did his job
Our offense isn't inconsistent, our oline just played well
Our D did decent on a loaded offense.
The steelers lost
We got home field advantage if we are tied with the pats for first in the afc
Our whole offense clicked,
Flacco didn't get sacked, threw for 382 yards, three tds, and looked sharp
Ray still got 100+ yards
Torrey got two tds for his brother (RIP)
Torrey is clutch
The refs helped us this time

Negs
Cary, do I even need to talk. Put in Asa for gods sake
Pees, too conservative. We have too much talent to play like that
The D played decent, but they were holding us every play.
Mankins and Edelman are punks
Cincinnati won
The replacement refs sucked, we shouldn't have been flagged that many times. Mankins kept starting fights
Cam Cameron in the first quarter wasn't effective

TBI(to be improved)
Cameron needs to run this offense all the time. We looked good today.
Defense. Pees needs to be more aggressive
Flacco got lucky, he needs to be more patient,

I'm doing this after every game now. Feel free to comment below.

He had a solid (in my book good) game last week. Against the best secondary in the leauge, 250 yards ain't bad. Cam and the oline blew it last week
