i really hope the Ravens come out and play pissed-off (after losing to the eagles) and smash the patriots....at home!

No bud, the RAVENS are going to show up and dominate. Even if we won against the EAGLES.

I know this because the RAVENS remember that AFC Championship that was giving away. They know they have unfinished business with these PATTYS.
If i was a PATTY Fan or Player, id be really worried. They know they are playing in the CROW'S DEN.

Please, Please F.O., Coach , who ever makes the decision , Please wear the All Black. And if its not a Black Out, atleast wear the Black and White uniforms.

Doesn't anyone think its odd that the PATRIOTS lost to a below average team and no one in the media is bringing that up. But when the RAVENS lost to the Jags ( who i might add had a really good Defense ), The RAVENS were shunned for losing to a crappy team.

Its a double standard. Oh and the PATTYs lost at Home, thats a double whammy imo.

You realize that once replacements are made that there were about 150 players last season that could call themselves Pro-bowlers. So to follow your logic further, if we brought a bunch of Hall of Famers out of retirement and put together a team it'd be the most talented? I think the comment about Philly having top five talent is probably right. However, you can't quantify talent, but you know it when you see it.
"Know it when you see it" is still an extrmemly vague guage. Like art. I know it when I see it, but that would only apply to me and what I deem to be art. In the case of the Eagles, I watched the game and I didnt see that much talent on either team.

Come on Perk, the Pats cannot be expected to be held to the same standard...as lesser teams, by the media. After all, the Pats have the Lady Brady.

oPPS, You got me on that. Thats right, it really is a double standard. Thats why i want to beat them so freaking bad.

But even if we do win, it wont be because of our team being better, it will be because the Patties are having a down yr.

The Pats run game wrecked Pagano's gameplan last year. I don't think Pees is as bad as everybody is screaming he is. It was only his second game as the head honcho. Give him some time to get a feel for what his players can and cannot do.

You're talking about the same fan base that wanted Mattison gone an hour after he was named DC...

I think we'll see the no huddle return in a big way this week.
I dont see Rice having a productive game, but Flacco will be making headlines again.

Thats what hurt us in the AFC Champ., The Pattys were ready for Rice and Cam's ego still thought we were going to dominate the run even though he knew the Pats were ready for him.

We were in the game ONLY because Cam finally put it in Flacco's hands.

There is no better way to get over a loss than to rebound with a win against a quality team. I think our familiarity with the Pats is a big plus here, as the Eagles weren't a familiar opponent by any means. I think all 3 phases of our game will play better, especially being back home again.

I am not the least bit scared of the Pats, and I don't think the Ravens are either. Let's kick some butt this week!!

Its simple.

Cam stay the hell out of Flacco's way.

OL, just give Flacco some time, and he WILL outgun Brady. Again.

Defense, do what you do.

Win.
yep, that's the one...

I could be wrong but didn't Mattison's defense hold up statistically as one of our better units in franchise history? And he did it with the likes of Frank Walker and Chris Carr starting in the secondary.

I must also say that if there was a man you'd want as your defensive coordinator against Brady and the Patriots it would be Pees. He KNOWS the Patriots better than anybody in the league. He knows their tendencies. He knows the schemes. He knows the terminology.

I expect a solid game plan from Dean this week. Its Cam that makes me worry.

Lol. Agreed. Apparently trying to make sense is the same as hating.

Im not sure we win this game.... And that being said the D will get shredded and the Off will out play Brady
If there is one game that i feel confident about winning. Its this one. There is just too much unfinished business with this team and this time they are playing infront of our FANS.

One of the Loudest Stadiums in the n.f.l, not because of how the stadium was built using acoustics but because of our Fans that know how to make some noise.

The Pattys better be scared.

One of us will be 1-2. It sure as hell wont be us @ our home turf.

And this is Patriots that cheated us off on Superbowl last year.

Lets romp these jokers out of playoffs!

I have this feeling that the game is going to be affected largely by another blown/poor call. Some officiating thing always comes and bites us at the end of Ravens/Patriots games, and last week makes me even more sure of that. Then we'll have yet another bitter loss and point our fingers at the refs while the rest of the league says "well maybe you should've beaten the Patriots by TWO scores". Somehow doing just enough to beat a team is never enough.

Too lazy to read through all of these comments, LOLz. Has anyone mentioned that Pees is familiar with Brady/McDaniels and that offense? Could be an advantage.

Goes with out saying the Pats ARE a very good team. Princess Brady is one of the best. She is a sure HOF. This game will not be a cake walk.
All that said With this being a home game and Philly exposing some of our weak points, we can spend the week straightening things out and give the Pats a run for their money.

I say RAVENS by 17

hahaha this is exactly how I talk to my house mates as they're all Patriots fans....

For this week the Patriots bring back Branch to take heat off Welker and freeze Webb from getting after Brady. They also sign Winslow! I have a feeling the Patriots coaches have seen the Ravens vs Eagles game film and Celek success, you think?

Our team needs an answer for Vince Wilfork who terrorized our OL in the championship game.
