We'll lose this game because Pees isn't half the defensive coordinator Pagano is. Plain and simple. We'll be able to move the ball offensively on the Patriots because their secondary is mediocre at best, our WR corps is better with the addition of Jones. Brady and the Patriots offense is going to absolutely shred Pees schemes though, especially with the addition of Lloyd. Last year Pees was able to zero in on the middle of the field with their TEs and Welker knowing that no one outside the hashes was going to catch more than 2 balls. Now they have someone capable of having a good game on the outside, combined with their TE's and Welker.

I don't see how Brady doesn't just absolutely torch Pees gameplan.

You guys have to understand that it was a QB that can beat you with his feet lined up across from our defense so it forces you to play more zone so everyone can always keep an eye on Vick just in case he takes off. We will run mainly man to man against Brady which suits us better and life is going to be hard on Brady next week. We were getting pressure pretty good with our D-line but Vick either bought a little more time with using his feet or got rid of the ball pretty fast and he was getting hit when he got rid of it. Ngata seems re energized from the end of last season and McPhee is doing well too.

Obviously the game plan is to keep as many eyes on him as possible, but thats no excuse for that paltry "bend but dont break" defense that we saw. How many games can you rely on getting 3 red zone turnovers? That score easily could have been an absolute blow out. You obviously can't bring pressures all the time but Vick has shown time and again that he still cannot read complex combination coverages or change protections well against well designed zone blitzing. He simply is not a heady QB. The fact that we let him continually march down the field and not change anything is absurd to me.

That and the Color of Black is a Crow / Raven.
Even if that were true (which it is not) you do realize that the team color has nothing to do with the color of the mascot/name, right? I have never seen an orange bronco or a blue viking, have you? Stop being foolish.
Exactly.

We know Joe can do it (not just that Cincy game, but we've seen it before in patches in other games, when we do decide to do it). It's just persistence and knowing how to utilise it.

That's when the offensive coordinator comes in, though...

Look how many Turnovers they are getting so close to the their own goal line and they only have 20 points.

Also, look how the O LINE is protecting Ryan, same cant be said for Flacco.

No one even mentioned how Flacco was being pressured the whole game against Philly. Our o line stunk it up and Cam made NO ADJUSTMENTS when Oher playing freaking LT was getting man handled the whole time. Pitta or Leach should have double teamed the left Defensive side.

Ryan has an O line that will actually protect for more than 1.5 seconds. We can't with Oher being on the left side. Oher is mediocre at best on the Right. He is horrid on the left.

Bring Big Mac back to the LEFT SIDE. Dam it.

Well, people keep comparing him to Mattison...if that's the case, I'd say Matty's defenses did pretty well against Princess Brady.
Yep, agreed. Protection = everything.

Bengals game; Flacco had an age. Result? well watch the game.

Eagles game; Flacco had no time, we didn't adapt to another gameplan to negate it. Result? well watch the game.

I don't think we missed B Mac yesterday, even though I've been a supporter of his. Speed rushers have been his achilles heel, and that's exactly what Babin/Cole are.

Yes, it did. Matty depended on winning your 1 on 1 matchups with a pretty much vanilla scheme with hat on hat. That's the best defense to beat QBs like Brady and Manning, not a ton of blitzing. I'm sure Arizona didn't blitz Brady a lot with their front 4 coming most of the time. Seems like the recipe is the best to beat us also, lol.

That was pre-Gronkowski and Hernandez though.

If he wants to have a shot at slowing them down he has to play alot of man coverages, press on the outsides and then toy around with the zone coverages with the safeties, maybe high low them and then know when to roll the dice with leaving Lewis in a soft zone in the middle and leaving the HB uncovered in traditional sets.

Looks like it's gonna be post-Hernandez for 4 - 6 weeks lol.
But they also had the Moss / Welker hookup when it was something to fear

Black uniforms are like your lucky underwear.
In your mind it really makes a difference, and that is where it ends.
If you feel good with how you look you're going to play good. When I walk out the door in a fresh suit I know I'm going to rock that day off the hinges.

Our players always show up when we have a black out.
The Pats run game wrecked Pagano's gameplan last year. I don't think Pees is as bad as everybody is screaming he is. It was only his second game as the head honcho. Give him some time to get a feel for what his players can and cannot do.

If we don't run the ball with Rice, we'll lose this game. I'm looking at you, Cam Cameron.
And none of that HB draw malarkey. WIlfork will eat that up.

Everybody on here KNOWS how much i love the ALL BLACK uniforms. Me personally , i think they should be our away game or home game uniforms.

The just look so dam intimidating in them and we usually straight run the game. That and the Color of Black is a Crow / Raven. Feels like im kind of forced to like Purple because the RAVENS are my team.

I Have 6 jersey and 5 of them are all black. The 1 and lonely one is Purple. ( it was a gift and number 52 so how could i refuse )
Dude, Ravens are an extremely dark hue of purple. I feel like we've been over this before lol

This would be absolutely ridiculous. I can see us winning but scoring that much, that would be really nice. Subtract 20 from the Pats point total there and I would really like that score
Flacco has the it factor, it doesnt work every time tho, Brady proved that in the SB, Flacco proved that yesteday, Bengals D is better than Pats.

He is not but you know how it is around here with the panic button and all. We lost to the Eagles by 1 point at their house and it wasn't the D's fault, offense was only able to generate two field goals in the 2nd half.
I hate all the chicken littles on these boards. I mentioned the exact same point somewhere else that you made here. We lost by ONE POINT after producing zilch in an entire half of football against a great defense and high powered passing attack. We did a lot to lose that game and still had an opportunity to win with a Tucker FG at the very end. Given all the ugliness it isn't dishonorable or embarrassing to lose that kind of game.

There is no doubt in my mind Pollard's absence allowed for Celek to go unchecked and Joe's injury was affecting his throwing motion in the 2nd half. But that brings me to another point.... if you know your QB is in pain and can't throw effectively why on Earth are you having him throw on 3rd and shorts when you have a run game with pro bowlers at RB, FB, and RG that had proven all game long that they could move the ball. That falls directly on the play calling and OC.

Ah, but the man makes the cloths, the cloths do not make the man. Put Brad Pit in a potato sack and he is still a chick magnet, put a monkey in a 3000 dollar armani and he is still a monkey in a nice suit. Personally I do not need cloths to feel good about myself, but when you are this handsome, and brilliant....;]

Okay you love black, I will stop harrassing you. One point though, well maybe two points. Black is not really a color, it is an accent, and a lot of teams use black as thier accent. We have to differentiate the teams somehow or you will have 22 guys in (cool, by your standards) black unis running around the field at the same time. The new refs are confused enough as it is.

You know purple is the color of royalty. And it also signifies mystery, power, luxury, sophistication, nobility. Black signifies morbidity, illegality, depression and death. Lets face it, the way this team plays sometimes, we do not need to be depressed by the uniforms too.

If they wear all black and we really stomp the Pats then I will be sold on the color making a difference. I do not mean just win, I mean embarrass them, like last year's season opener.
Never said I dont like it. In fact, the majority of my jerseys are black.

Im just saying you need to stop these wacky posts about your obsession over the black unis. Seriously.

Like I said, stick to your montages. They are your strong point. Arguing for a certain colored uniform is not. ;)
