It was pretty good last year, and they drafted some guys to help - but Rice historically outside of that playoff game in 09 has never played well against the Pats, and we've always played them close. But, Brady hasn't really ever played us well, either.

I agree. Rice and Lewis played well too, obviously.

Yanda pancaked Trent Cole on a trap block early in the game. I giggled like a school girl. Yanda destroyed Jenkins on the Leach touchdown. Leach played well for the little he was there.

Personally between the moronic referees and the idiotic playcalls, the dancing around of the Eagles like they just won the Super Bowl and Desean Jackson needing to get choked out along with the Patriots straight up lucking out last year in the playoffs, I'm ready to see Pollard the, 'Patriot Killer' go out there next week and rip Brady's legs off. We'll win, and I can't wait.

i see our offense putting up decent numbers, but i also see their pass rush getting to us quite a bit. With the two rookies they just drafted hightower and jones i think (i wanted hightower over upshaw) they have improved a lot, even in the AFCC game their pass rush was getting to us.

I dont think we will have a problem with our wr's not getting open like today. Their secondary is average at best....and thats being nice. i see rice having a big game

I am extremely worried about our secondary though. If vick can put up 370 on us i dont want to know what bradys stat line will look like. at least hernandez is out

I think we pull it out though 24-27 ish, it being a home game for us is huge

Hernandez being out will be a big blow to the Pats when facing us. I fear Hernandez more than Gronk.

Maybe the game against the Eagles is a "good" loss. We won't get carried away and focus on working out our mistakes diligently. Is that a good way to spin this? Is this believable?

Do we have a winning record with the all black uniform combination. We should play the Patriots like its any other game (so where the usually uniform combination); win and move on to the short week game. It almost seems that when a team puts so much stock in one game, they end up losing the next.

I need a Pollard update ?? Because I need somebody to smack the patriots million TEs around because Celek looked like Megatron today.

I think if the offense comes out in the no huddle mix up the pass and run, we can take time of possession from the patriots. Boldin has to Step up next week, so that Torrey can get a few one on ones. Pitta should get at least 7 catches 80 yds he's Mr.Reliable.
