The refs are standing almost directly under the posts. Almost impossible to mess that up, though I'm not sure I'd put it past this group of refs. I saw one angle from which it definitely looked good.

I remember crouching down looking up at my TV saying, "Please Make this... Please Make this. I can't take another repeat of the AFC Title Game.. Please Make this"

Yeah, I utilized my DVR's slow-mo numerous times after it went through, and there really is no doubt that it was good... did any of you notice Skip Bayless' tweets post-game? Wow...

I'm not going to argue if its good or not. But the refs (even though they suck) called it good, that's good enough for me.

I would say the Ref under the pole would have a pretty beastly view.

Not only that, but the initial reaction/elation from the fans behind the goal posts kind of says it all. They know what's up.

Our mighty EX kicker Billy Cundiff, missed a Game winning FG wide, wide right.

IT was so right ( slice ) that you could say he hooked, lol, Round the world . What The Tuck ???

All i have to say is,

Tucker you are the MAN !!!

In all fairness, it was a 62 yard attempt. Since 2000, this was only the 5th field goal attempt of exactly 62 yards. Previously, 1 of those attempts was successful. So now it's a 1 / 5 success rate. 20%. That's a highly unlikely field goal. From 62+, there have been 20 attempts since 2000, with 3 being successful (1 from 62, 2 from 63... longest attempt was 66). That's only a 15% success rate.

In all fairness, it was so hard right, he would have missed it if it was at the 40yd.

I went to the Patriots forums and one of their fans claimed that he was in the section directly behind the goal posts and stated that the ball was a yard wide right of the post. Was anyone here in that section to see the ball and confirm or deny this jaded fans perspective?
It wasn't even remotely CLOSE to being a full yard wide right. It was never even a yard wide right even after sailing well beyond the crossbar, much less when it was right over the cross bar. He's just a typical sore loser who doesn't want to accept reality, that's all.

And Tucker's kick last night would have missed if it was at the 40 as well. Oh well.

Exactly.

But I won't lie. If it was Cundiff, I would probably be agree with it being no good.

True, very true.

And like last season in the AFC CHAMP. , i wasn't worried about us not making it. Guess what, NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Guess the only F.G that are 99.999999 % gimmies are the point after, only reason we would miss that is from a biatched snap.

can't wait til brady retires.... there goes half the pats fans. there will definitely be some mediocrity in a couple years and those fans will be forced to shut their traps because they won't how to handle losing a ton of games without him.

Ok people truth be told...........did he make or miss that field goal?
Well according to the ref who was standing directly under the pole, he made it. Can't argue with that. Any other angle is skewed.

If 2 person standing under the poles, there is no way you can't tell the ball going in between the poles or not; especially the fans behind the pole have even better angles than most.

The ball had alot of english to it so when it going through the poles, it spins 180.

As for Tucker, he did have pressure from the 2nd chance, but since it's too close, all he had to do is aim through the poles and after that is irrelevant.

I believe if it is 42yd, his leg will follow through and the ball should go straight, long enough to go through the poles.
