Justin Tucker

Justin Tucker is the real deal. There is no reason to believe we wouldn't have won if we could have gotten into field goal position at the end of the game.

How great is it to have a kicker who can hit from distance? I'm sorry - but Cundiff would never make those kicks.

Glad we made the right move! Heres hoping Tucker is our kicker for years to come.

Incredible. We made the right choice. Those were some high pressure kicks as well.

I would've have been amped to see him attempt a game winner. I bet he could nail it from 65+.

Tucker is definitely an upgrade. Cundiff was usually fine, but anything over 45 yards was iffy and 50 yards meant you might as well punt it.

Hands down, the biggest, undrafted rookie pick-up of the 2012 off-season! Heck, how did Justin Tucker not even get drafted in one of the later rounds? After all, the Jaguars DID draft a punter in the third round...

Cundiff just missed a 62 yard field goal to tie the game. It would have been good if you moved the field goal posts three lengths to the right.

Felt bad for him. But that just solidified why we kept Tucker.

it was 62 yards but yes he missed and i am sure tucker would have gave it a good run from there especially since it was a dome. his 56 yarder today still had 7-10 yards left in distance had their been no net. this guy is money and i can't have more confidence in a kicker than i do with justin.

Your right. It was going to be a 47 yarder before the penalty. He would've missed that as well.

Calling it now: Sometime in the next five years, Justin Tucker will surpass the NFL record and kick a field goal longer than 63-yards. Also, during the same time, Tucker will rival Adam Vinatieri's clutch ability and be the deciding factor in many close games for the Ravens...

Already, the last prediction is asking for a lot, but he will come-up huge in a lot of cases. Oh, and the record will belong to him, without question.

We lost today.
Irrelevant what cundiff or Washington did
We lost.
Had a chance to maintain a 1 game lead on the afcn (yes it's early) and we didn't.
Don't care what cundiff did or did not do today

I'll be honest, usually, i sick to my stomach after a lost but i can honestly say we didn't lose this game. The SCAB refs changed the outcome. And no one, i mean NO ONE can say different.

We're going to get a lot of use out of Tucker's magic leg this season, and unfortunately, Sam Koch's too.
[/quote]

I love this kid, i like how he get pumped up after a make and he is always ready. Heck, if we made it to the 50 yd line at the end of the game, i would have been pretty confident that he would make it. He would too. And if he missed, i wouldn't have been mad what so ever. He did he Job and than some.

The funny thing is, the field goal was originally going to be about a 45-yarder before the unsportsmanlike conduct. Still couldn't trust "thou-whom-shall-not-be-named" to make that, either...

You can say his name, i think everyone has moved on now especially with the Matha Tucker we have now lol.

And yes he would still not have made it, It was a good 15 to 20 yds right. Good riddance

That kick landed in the end zone, well short of the goal posts. It *may* have been long enough for 50, but still not straight.

Back on topic, Tucker is amazing. I would have felt at ease if he had to kick from 60 to win the game. Sadly, he didn't have that opportunity.

Tucker did very well and I know if we would of gotten in range he would of made it. i see now that once we move past the fifty and he will have tucker kick for it. Just unfortunate we did not give him the chance to.
