Dean Pees has to go

200 posts in this topic

I don't think the Ravens will make major coaching changes in week three. Dey got four turnovers, and lost four players from last season from the front seven.

I thunk the pressure from the DB's on blitzes worked well. There ain't many pretty losses, and this would not have been a pretty W, anywho.

I blame Pees for not doing anything to stop Celek, but other than that, you can't really blame him for that loss given our ineptitude on offense after his defense forced 4 turnovers! It's been two weeks!
I blame personnel. Sure Pollard wasn't shutting him down, but people were leaving him wideeeeeeeee open.

He embarrassed Ed Reed.

Someone please find a montage of RBates attacking this very argument when it is used to defend Flacco.
Everyone knows you won't really find that. I have said in the past that the guy has all the tools to be great. He just has yet to put them together. Saying that he is not better than Vick is by no means putting him down. It's just putting his play into perspective as of right now.

Thats funny because he is playing a hell of a lot better than Vick is...just like last year.
Flacco playing better than Vick? Wow not from what i saw the other day. Vick has in back to back weeks come from behind to lead his team to victory . When we think of Flacco we think about a few times he has done it in all five years. This man has two in a two week season. Against top ten defenses a year ago

Oh last year Vick had a WR that quit on the team because of a contract dispute.......Not to mention i don't really see where Flacco outplayed Vick anyway. You do know that he only needed 13 games to out play Flacco right.

So if Flacco has 9 turnovers in two games you will be ok with that as long as he wins?? I know you don't like Flacco, but come on man your just a silly goose! If you want to discount Vicks poor play and count only the W's then Flacco has alot more W's then Vick has! The only has on Flacco is his scrambling ability.

last year, what did Flacco have? A rookie starting at WR? Another ageing WR who led the team with 900 some yards? A pair of second year TE? A team that had severe case of butter fingers?

And yet Flacco still put up better passing numbers, in a conservative offense...meanwhile Vick led the dream team down the toilet on the way to an 8-8 record, with worse passing stats.

As for this year, I really hope you are being sarcastic. Vick got lucky when the LB dropped the game sealing INT - which would have been Vicks FIFTH interception thrown that game. By all rights Vick should be at best 1-1, with a stat line that would make Boller blush with embarrasment. Those 'amazing' comebacks were a result of Vick digging his team into a hole in tje first place.

So has Flacco, so what are you saying.
I'm saying Flacco has had much more success than Vick in much less time. He's won 5 playoff games compared to VIck's 2 and reached the CG twice in 4 years.

Let's just look at the last playoff games Flacco and Vick were in. Flacco throws a perfect pass to win the game while Vick throws a horrible interception to lose it.

Your blind love for Vick is amusing, but all he does is underachieve. He has one of the worst interception rates in the NFL opposed to Flacco who has one of the best.

There is no way to guarantee Flacco will win a SB, but all the evidence strongly favors that possibility. Any objective observer would agree.
What are you talking about? That is far from all. Vick finds ways to put his team in position to win games, after all his mistakes. I don't hate Flacco, but some of you homers obviously are having a hard time with reality when it comes to his play. The guy stunk it up in the second half, you can make a case that he stunk it up the whole game. Listen to the Ray Rice interview. His teammate said it best you have to complete that Dennis Pitta pass. Dennis with 15 targets and this is even a discussion. ( HUH) I can't believe some of you guys. Pressure or not ,there is no way he has fifteen targets in one game with the amount of talent we have at every skill position.

Flacco was bad pressure or not. When he had time to throw it was an overthrow or under throw. Then it was his ribs, then the refs. Take ownership of your awful play and move on to the next game. Like Mr. Vick did on his team's sideline in the middle of the game, in a sound bite I heard,Ii believe it was on sports center. CMON Man...... I have been watching this game a long time.
All of this and Vick won that game. Fly if you are going to talk about his record last year that is cool, but he would have dominated Flacco's stats if he had played the three games he was out. Lets not forget the rushing stats either. Not to mention all the fumbles from the great Joe Flacco.

Dream team? There is no such thing in football. Wrong sport. The closest you will come to a dream team in football was the 72 Dolphins. You Flacco guys kill me ,go watch the interview of your quarterback and see if he takes ownership of his poor play, or was it a team lost. lmao....... he even looks scared in interviews in his fifth season.
Flacco went to the playoffs his first year in the league right? So that tells you one or two things, either he is great in fact so good that he might be a reincarnated Dan Marino, (OR) he played on a great team. I'll let you decide which. The same team he currently plays on that got him all kinds of new toys to play with. All for nothing ,he likes to target one receiver 15 times in a game . SMH Don't compare the two its not fair, Vick is and always was better than Flacco.

Vick (as an Eagle) has just as much talent around him as Flacco. The difference is Vick isnt as good. End of story.

Yes Flacco played like doo doo second half, but what was obviously different in 2nd half?? Im let you answer that! And you said Vick outplayed Flacc your wrong! Is not bout being a "homer", I admit when he plays poorly. Even when Flacco plays good you still bash him, didn't Flacco put us in position to go to SB, but somebody dropped a pass and you know the rest. COME ON MAN!!

Didn't you know? all Ravens topics have complex mechanism of levers and pulleys designed to divert attention back to Flacco.

Two games do not make a career. It is arguable that Cam Newton played better than Drew Brees in last weeks game, but that would hardly indicate that Newton was a better QB then Brees.
