Is there any word on how serious of an injury pollard sustained? Im already missing watching Suggs intensity , don't want to lose pollards as well.

It's a chest injury, so I wouldn't believe it's something major. We just have to wait-and-see, at this point...

Bruised ribs. Already said he's playing next week, but it feeling some pain right now.

I though it was Joe Flacco who had the bruised ribs and Bernard Pollard has a chest injury. Am I wrong?

According to Aaron Wilson, it's a rib contusion. Flacco is also dealing with bruised ribs, but it's unclear to what extent as of now.

Someone on the eagles was shoving with one of our DB's and Pollard steps in there and jacks him up by the jersey with two hands.

Anybody on here wish they were that tough? haha

Pollard is one of the toughest guys on our team. I would love to see him in there next week. It's no wonder Flacco got hurt he was getting shelled all day long.

I feel Pollard was the best defender on the field for us prior to him being injured.
Oh he definitely was. He was having a career day in my honest opinion. He already had an interception, sack, and several tackles. He was on fire until the injury.

Pollard is terrific. He is a Raven through and through. He should be fine. I had read that he was suited up in the second half but I don't think he ever returned to the game. Should be fine to go next week. I'd love to see this again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7aVe_Ge09U

This guy was an absolute BEAST in the 1st quarter. I really think him going down was the worst blow to our team yesterday and one of if not THE reason why we lost.

I was thinking about the last Vick drive and Celek CRUSHED our defense. I don't think he did much when Pollard was on the field, if I recall correctly. NO WAY Pollard lets Celek get that open down field. Not the way he was looking to hit people over the middle at the start of the game.

Our LBers can only be expected to cover so far downfield before a safety picks him up but yesterday, but jeebus, Celek was wide open play after play. (I'm lookin at you Considine!)

It is like they didn't watch game tape from the Browns comeback game.

I thought our secondary did a very good job containing the speedy receivers WHILE IN MAN COVERAGE. Then Pees switches to the Prevent (errrr..... ALLOW DEFENSE) and it all went to gaaar-baaaj. It was that last drive that killed us with Vick to Celek over and over again.

IF we had Pollard, no way we lose that game.

anyway, those are my thoughts on that. I really need a beer now.

Pollard has been on a mission since pre-season. He's an animal.

Regarding the game, Celek was already having a big game before Pollard left. Still, things may have been different had he remained in the game.

Any news on his injury?

Bruised Rib, I believe. Should be ready to go for next week.

I don't think Celek would have done THAT good if Pollard had never gotten hurt. We need him ready this sunday though to try and contain Gronk. Lucky for us no Hernandez.... Kruger also hurt us this week. Hopefully he'll be 100 come game time.

Rib contution for Pollard. Painful but not game threatening!

I know I blamed Considine but that is only because Ihedigbo (sp?) was signed what 3 weeks ago? I was surprised he played as much as he did. He clearly wasn't ready but he was game enough to put in the effort...I guess.

In regards to Kruger, yes he was a blow, but on the other hand I did like what I saw from Upshaw. He is starting to come along I thought.

Interesting to see if Harbs sticks with him this week against the Pats

We all know that Pollard is probably, at the moment, the biggest hitter on our defense. I'm sure he'll play the Pats even if he's hurt, and this leads to a thought..
Tradition has Pollard killing a Patriot, well, every time he gets the chance.. Who will he destroy this time? Brady again? (Because I don't know if you guys noticed, but Pees sends him blitzing about 20% of the time), Will it be the Gronk? Our defense probably will kill the next tight end to step on the field as a redeption for what happened with Celek..

I think he'll take them both. Who do you think will be the Slayer's next victim?
