Bruised ribs. Already said he's playing next week, but it feeling some pain right now.
I though it was Joe Flacco who had the bruised ribs and Bernard Pollard has a chest injury. Am I wrong?

According to Aaron Wilson, it's a rib contusion. Flacco is also dealing with bruised ribs, but it's unclear to what extent as of now.

Oh he definitely was. He was having a career day in my honest opinion. He already had an interception, sack, and several tackles. He was on fire until the injury.I feel Pollard was the best defender on the field for us prior to him being injured.

I was thinking about the last Vick drive and Celek CRUSHED our defense. I don't think he did much when Pollard was on the field, if I recall correctly. NO WAY Pollard lets Celek get that open down field. Not the way he was looking to hit people over the middle at the start of the game.
Our LBers can only be expected to cover so far downfield before a safety picks him up but yesterday, but jeebus, Celek was wide open play after play. (I'm lookin at you Considine!)
It is like they didn't watch game tape from the Browns comeback game.
I thought our secondary did a very good job containing the speedy receivers WHILE IN MAN COVERAGE. Then Pees switches to the Prevent (errrr..... ALLOW DEFENSE) and it all went to gaaar-baaaj. It was that last drive that killed us with Vick to Celek over and over again.
IF we had Pollard, no way we lose that game.
anyway, those are my thoughts on that. I really need a beer now.
