I don't understand what goes on in cams head... his formulas, strategy, everything becomes so predictable, I honestly thought he changed but no, same old cam. His calling are just abysmal, such stupid decisions, why must he stay in Baltimore? Can we get some sort of petition or SOMETHING to get this numbskull out of this team? What is up with this defensive cord. zones... why so many zones? I don't understand these guys why must they push a freaking scheme over using the players to their strengths?

What's worse about it all is that Philly had some of their bench players on the line, and Baltimore failed to take advantage of it.
They had injuries everywhere and both Jackson and Maclin weren't 100%. Just terrible.

T-Sizzle

Terrell Suggs.

There was hardly a pass rush at times in that second half and Vick made us pay when he had FOREVER to throw.

Suggs. Get well soon my friend. We are good enough to make it to the playoffs without you but we're gonna need you back after that.
You know what the Ravens didn't miss out their, today? Billy Cundiff...

The final score probably would have been 24-12, Eagles. Yeah, had Baltimore kept Cundiff, he would have even missed those extra points, as well...

But, seriously, three-to-five pass rushers ganging-up to go after the opposing QB is nowhere near as effective as Terrell Suggs lining-up on the far end as either a linebacker or defensive lineman. T-Sizzle needs to come back, as soon as possible. IF everything goes as planned, and T-Suggs comes back and plays eight-to-ten games, one can only dream what Suggs and Courtney Upshaw COULD do on opposite ends of the line...

What fair weather fans? Outside of Baltimore there are little Ravens Fans. In fact most people hate the Ravens just because.
Here in Louisiana, I would say most people Respect the Ravens because they like Ray Lewis & Ed Reed with the defense so much. Many people respect and like to watch the physical play of the defense over the years.... Haven't came across any people that just hate the Ravens other than some steelers fans

Incredibly poor offensive game-planning. This has been the story of our offense these past few years. Excluding the first game of each year--which we have 6 months to plan for--if our guys don't physically dominate their match-ups we struggle on offense. We rarely outscheme opponents... And in the NFL that's a problem.
So true. The arrogance of Cam Cameron is ridiculous. Flacco has no business throwing the ball 42 times in a game against a team with top-tier corners, a questionable run D, and a potentially explosive offense, especially when you have the lead or are tied for most of the game and you're on the road.

Secondly, when you see your receivers and TEs struggling to get open downfield, and your quarterback is getting smacked around because you continue to run plays that take several seconds to develop, maybe a different strategy is in order if you're the OC. Our receivers were getting zero separation today from the DBs and LBs. I know fans say that a lot, but today it was absolutely true. Flacco had no throwing lanes. Doesn't excuse that horrid INT he threw, but I can forgive him trying to make a play in a game like this. Like someone said in another thread, Flacco takes maybe 10-15% of the blame today in my eyes. Cam takes about 75%.

About 28 carries in a game like this would have been great, especially sitting on a league for most of the game.
Some better situational runs would have been nice. All those 3rd and Shorts we tried to pass...it would've been nice to bring Leach in there once in a while.

Cam should have trusted the interior line, Leach and Rice to convert on a few of the third and shorts.

Even Philly's below-average line, I was encouraged by the pressure the defense brought.

Tough loss, but I'm confident they'll bounce back next week.

Better start studying Philly Defense because its far from average! THis is 2012 not 2011! You let oour mistake prone QB pass over 300 yards and your covented OLD AGE RAY LEWIS DEFENSE didnt stop our run enough. How did it feel to have Reed hurdled by our +100 Yard receiving TE CELEK!!! LOL

I was cursing the TV when they took Leach out after he got in that scrap. IF YOUR PRO BOWL FULLBACK IS FOAMING AT THE MOUTH WITH SNOT BUBBLES COMING OUT HIS NOSE ON 3RD AND SHORT WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD YOU NOT GO POWER I AND RUN THE FOOTBALL DOWN THEIR SOFT A$$ RUN DEFENSE'S THROAT... makes no sense. Situational football adjustments have been this teams achilles heel for several years.

LOL you guys will be done before the season is over. Your O-line can hardly protect Vick. Good win though even if you wont be winning the Division.

Offense looked terrible for 3 quarters of the game. I blame this loss on the Offense. Defense did what they could given that they were on the field a whole lot more than the offense.

I saw us go back to good ol' Baltimore Offense Football. 3 and out, hope the defense turns it over (oh wait they did, 4 TIMES) and/or get a pick 6 and run the ball. Wait we didn't do much of that either...

Offense stank up the joint. If the plays are not working, change it up!!! Jeez. The refs did suck and yes the Jacoby TD being called back blew my mind as well but it was what it was and we had time to make it a win.

Instead we failed offensively. Miserably too.

We boo when we get upset, we voice our opinion and feelings but we dont ever jump ship. It's why we are the MOST PASSIONATE FANS in the NFL! Go live in your great town of Baltimore bro!

3.1 yards per carry is really good for the Eagles? It took them 40+ carries to get their yards on the ground.
Is that all it takes to BEAT the RAVENS!? LOL 3.1 yards!

It's annoying, but this is what they do. They'll play up for the division and for quality teams, but against weaker opposition they play down to their level. Of course the ridiculous play calling was a problem, but it was a team loss.

Is Pollard going to be good to go for next week? There's a certain fop from Foxboro that he has to beat.

Dean Pees..WTH!.. Don't get me wrong I think he is a good "LB" coach and all but D coordinator NO!!! He has no creativity... We got torched from running zone all game...I just don't understand it...It felt like we never ran man and just let vick sit in the pocket and torch us with absolutely no pass rush...Looks like we have Mattison part 2...Oh and the WRs got absolutely no separation which made flacco look like a scrub....

McClelan is a beast and Upshaw is growing each game...

Dickson was nonexistent, Torrey nonexistent except that long pass...Boldin had like one catch in the first i think, Pitta was Pitta... Jacoby is pretty good.. Ray rice needs his touches...

Just being honest....What Does everyone think?
Yep! We saw some Mattison-like Defense today. The 3rd down failures change the momentum of the game.

If the OPI is not called, we are not having "all" of this discussion...yes we still played bad as a team (pass defense, play calling, 3rd and short, lucky philly redzone turnovers) but there would be this to be said...Joe stepped up and made a play with his arm against the blitz when he needed to, because that's exactly what he did and should of effectively won the game at that point. These refs are an absolute travesty, that [profanity deleted] had no business throwing that "flag" even though he couldn't even to manage to do that correctly. What a joke

It was a tightly contested game, and your defense definitely clamped down in the 2nd half. But your logic doesn't make much sense. We didn't stop the run enough? You averaged 3.1 yards per rush. Michael Vick averages 7.1 YPC over his career, while LeSean McCoy averages 4.8. Neither went over the 3.4 mark. This was far better than the performance of your run defense, which gave up 5.3 yards per attempt. To put things in perspective, in comparison to last year's full season stats, our average would've tied for 2nd best. Yours? Would've been dead last, by a country mile.

Yes, Vick did manage to pass over 300 yards, but you do realize that there's no true correlation between yards and turnovers, right? He was still 1/2 in his TD/INT ratio as a passer, meaning he was still mistake prone while racking up yards. The hurdle was an awesome play on Brent Celek's part, who had a terrific game. But you could just as well ask him how it felt to have the ball bounce off of his fingertips, while being tightly covered by the so-called, "old age," Ray Lewis, into the outstretched arms of Ed Reed for INT. Your defense is much improved since 2011. But had it not been for the beyond questionable offensive PI call on Jacoby Jones, your defensive would've been responsible for the game-icing TD. They deserve the credit for coming up in the clutch at the end, but all in all, neither defense was flawless as a whole.

3rd down conversions need to be better on both sides of the ball.
This. Whenever the Eagles had 3rd and long or 3rd and anything I had no hope that we'd stop them. We've been bad at stopping 3rd downs for a while, especially against the steelers, 3rd and 18 and they convert no problem. I don't understand it.

I had the same lack of hope when we had 3rd down. This is going to be the same roller coaster don't-know-what-you're-getting-every-week year that it always is.

A dirty secret about Ray Rice that no one shares because we're all supposed to think he's amazing; take away his typical 50 yd run a game, he might average 3 yds a carry. If that. Ray Rice is the equivalent of a home run hitter who might hit 44 home runs a year but strikes out 200 times. So, the offensive coordinator constantly puts flacco in 3rd and long because he calls two running plays to ray rice hoping to get that home run, then Flacco has to suffer through whatever vanilla play call cameron calls on 3rd and forever.
