If cam cameron and the o line didn't suck we'd win every game. We ran the same play on 4 consecutive 3rd downs and didn't convert one... then ran that same play twice the last two plays. How many times does cam need to see a play fail miserably before he stops calling it? Coaching lost the game.
Trick question. He doesn't.

These replacement refs are going to cost someone the playoffs and someone their career due to injuries--look how many Eagles went down.
Scary thought - and you're absolutely right.

Absolutely. So many times with the late whistles... They had no control over the game in respect to the extra-curriculars. Both teams were a little ridiculous after the plays. Cary Williams shoving wayyy past the line, Desean Jackson throwing (albeit small) punches. Art Jones tossing Desean Jackson, some Eagles jumping on piles. So stupid, and so preventable.

On another note, if they put a "Professional Referee" on the side of the field, why isn't he on the field as the head official having the final say in all calls. Whats the freaking point?

All i have to say is,

The Ravens did not play their best but i will say this, I have never seen REFS complete change the outcome of the game.

J.Jones should have had that T.D and the RAVENS WIN.

Having this win stolen is shameful especially given how hard our schedule is. That OPI was an absolute classless call.
Yeah after the TD I went to get a drink as there was no flag that I say .

I come back and the score is changed back to before the TD .

I was shocked and even more shocked when I saw the replay .

I blame the refs as much as the Ravens for losing this game, I believe one of the bad calls cost us a likely touchdown.

The Ravens also need to watch the penalities they do earn as it cost them the game also with that touchdown catch that got reversed.

Because of the bad calls from the substitute refs I am about ready to give up on football for this year, perhaps the fans should go on strike and stop going to or watching any games till the pro refs are back !

If the OPI is not called, we are not having "all" of this discussion...yes we still played bad as a team (pass defense, play calling, 3rd and short, lucky philly redzone turnovers) but there would also be this to be said for us...Joe stepped up and made a play with his arm against the blitz when he needed to, because that's exactly what he did and should of effectively won the game at that point. These refs are an absolute travesty, that [profanity deleted] had no business throwing that "flag" even though he couldn't even to manage to do that correctly. What a joke

I'm glad it happened now. Yeah, it sucked big time to lose to the Eagles. I'm a pretty die-hard Ravens fan, but I had a feeling we'd lose this game. I had this nagging feeling it would happen. I'm not saying I am some kind of prophet, but it was just a gut feeling that told me this would happen.

With that said, I feel like the Ravens coaches & players will learn what they did wrong and correct it for next week and the weeks after. We played a bad game in many ways and still stayed in the game. The refs gave us a hard time to even get close to winning the game, and we came close to winning.

You learn more from failure than success. I feel like this team will be just fine.

It still sucks, though. A big disappointment to say the least. I feel like we will win the rest of our games up to the Bye, however.

The Refs cost us 4 points and then probably 4 more points because of the non-call when Vick should have been called for Intentional Grounding. It doesnt excuse the loss, but we would have won with competent officiating.

The offense played terrible on 3rd down, the O-line was abused most of the day, and the defense blew more coverages than I can count.

The few birght spots was the D being able to force Turnovers and Ray Rice was excellent. Jacoby Jones looked good as well should of had 2 TDs.

Like the title says, the Sports guys are saying that we got screwed and alot of other teams did as well.

I think maybe 8 teams had a different outcome (losses) because of these refs.

Don't worry, i think within the next week or two, the Regular Refs will be back.

They ( the Scabs ) aren't going to last til week 5

How does this make us feel better? All I care about is the Ravens.

That said, we blew this game as much as anything else.

the redskins got cundiffed AND the cundiff mystique stayed in new england, the cowboys laid an egg in seattle, saints got owned, and the bears performed like the "ravens-jags game".

Of course he was. Its just how some idiotic posters go about mentioning it as if hes never done anything. Ever.

Refs made a few bad calls today. The most notable against us were the Reed roughing the passer as he was going for the ball and came down with his hand hitting Vick in the head, but he did not touch anything else so it should of been clear that it was not a roughing the passer which gave the Eagles a 1st down instead of a 4th down; McCoy scored a TD on the next play. The second which cost us 4 points was the Jacoby Jones pass interference on the touchdown in which there was no push off, just lots of hand fighting on both guys. Today it was Cam's refusal to ride Rice early on when he was clicking. Instead it was 4 5 pass attempts, 42 throws, an interception, and 2 sacks. Rice ended with 16 carries, the last 6 when Cam was trying to run clock. He had 10 for 95 midway through the 3rd.

OK seriously stop with the excuses. The Eagles beat you fair and squar. Stop blaming the refs. That was "NOT" a fumble by Vick nor was it intentional grounding (he was out of the box and was being hit while threw and there was a receiver in the area). And the TD that was called back was legit. Even Deon Sanders said it was a legit call. You cant push off in this league. Eagles fans can easily shout off a few questionable calls against us. Like how there were two 2min warnings? And how that Nnamdi illegal contact for a free 5 yards (and more importantly) an automatic 1st down. Looked like just good coverage to me. And the Eagles played dirty? Your defense was the ones that was taking cheap shots after what seemed like every play. Ravens tried to bully the Eagles and the Eagles showed some grit themself's.

It was a combination of both, but yes, even with the poor officiating we should have been able to win if we had a better second half. Offense was inept and defense wasn't rushing Vick enough or covering receivers well.

If you see the refs stopping play for the 2 min warning then changing their minds and putting 2:05 on the clock essentially giving the Eagles a 4th timeout is a positive for the Ravens smh

I feel the same way, if we criticize Joe at all people start busting out the pitchforks! He can be at fault and he made some bad plays/throws!

No blaming these refs is not loser talk. While it is true we did not play our best we still should have won by a minimum of three. and that is a fact.

The guys is right. It was not a fumble it was definitely a forward pass. The OPI on Jones was questionable, but new refs or old refs, that sort of thing happens all the time. Now there was some serious mugging going on against our WRs that was not called, but I am sure they were not being called on the Eagles WRs too. If not then kudoes to the Eagles for...stretching the rules... when they knew they could get away with it. The refs were crap all the way around and we played like crap all the way around. We lost plain and simple.

Why? Was it poor execution, was it poor playcalling, poor coordinators? In the light of a new day, I do not know, but we did play badly as a team. Eagles took advantage of that.

Flacco was partly to blame. What happened to "its my offense"? If it is his offense he should run it and to [profanity deleted] with Cam or Caldwell or Harbs. It did not look like his offense. It looked like more of the same old Cam offense (and Mattison defense).

A week seperated the 1st and 2nd game. What happened to the team in that week?

If you actually think that was PI by Jones when Nnamdi DIDNT EVEN GET HIS HEAD TURNED AROUND, then that is all I need to know to block your posts. Thanks for making this quick!

The refing sucked in every game especially in this one and had we had competent refs the outcome may have been different but the key problem was we caused 4 turnovers and lost. our defense allowed 486 yards of offense that needs to be the focus. I can also say pass protection sucked and play calling towards the end was horrific. Ill blame those things and us having a 6 point lead and our defense unable to stop them before ill say the refs were the problem.
