A special thank you to cam cameron.....I knew the real you would show up!!!!
You can tell he took over, Flacco didn't audible this week the way he did last week, and the signature Cam playcalling was self evident. Running something broken faster doesn't make it any less broke. You can't expect success when the foundation of the offense is fundamentally flawed.

The refs were fine. You guys are sounding like the exact thing people mock ravens fans for, always crying that the refs were against us. We lost that game ourselves with poor third down play calling and poor zone coverage. That's how it goes sometimes. We lost by one point it's not like we got blown out or barely put points on the board. Relax.

So did the D. Don't act like they were perfect, Brent Celek was wide open just about every play. Cary looked bad as well. It's a team loss.
It's pretty much on everyone, except Tucker, Pitta and Rice.

Not to mention that bogus offensive PI call on Jacoby cost us the game. Awful, awful job by the refs. I am very frustrated with them.

Some football games are ugly, but at the end of the day Jacoby had that TD. I don't care what anyone says. That was game. That PI call screwed us.

Oh quit making excuses, we lost in a close game. Sure the officials did bad, but we lost they didn't. The good news is we weren't cocky, let's focus on next week. We need revenge. Let's not get cocky anymore. The Eagles are a playoff team. Get over it

You sir, are an idiot.

We could have been patient on the last drive, and ran the ball on 4th on 2, but we had to give it to an inaccurate Flacco. What's with the self-sabotaging?

I'd recommend staying away from ESPN this week. We'll hear nothing about the poor officiating and all about how Flacco sucks (again).

Flacco sucked the second half. Thats why we lost. The eagles strapped up on defense and our offense couldn't overcome. Thus, we lost. Refs made mistakes, but you can't put this loss of them when our team underwhelmed in the second half.

The play-calling! Seriously! Who's decision was it to stop the no huddle, hurry-up offense that worked so well against the Bengals, last week?

This game reminded me, so much, of the Jacksonville game, last year. Our offensive line was beat on nearly every snap and Joe Flacco had virtually no time to step-into pocket and get a pass off. Plus, the mediocre selection of plays...

Don't get me wrong, on the other side of the football, Dean Pees's defense schemes, while giving-up a lot of yards, is working to the point where the Ravens are still getting turnovers and ending drives in their red-zone. Sure, Baltimore's secondary played-off the receivers and wanted Michael Vick to beat them with his arm, but it was mostly successful. There were even some nice gang sacks.

But, the damn, offensive play-calling! I "hate" to jump onto the bandwagon, but Jim Caldwell should be the offensive coordinator and Joe Flacco should, then, make the offensive run smoothly. I just hope John Harbaugh does what Brian Billick did in 2006 and fires his friend/offensive coordinator...

You arrogant fools..... This won't teach you a think but this is NFL week 2
Because it's our fault? Us fans being cocky affected the game?

once again cam cameron chokes in final 2 minute situations, poor choice of plays not one run play called
Which was a huge issue. I said the same thing that second down play last drive should had been a draw.

We need to let cam go.
it was just bad execution as well on Flacco's part. Cam does deserve blame though, he went away from attacking the interior of their D-line.

Joe didn't looked good nor did our receivers. Boldin & Dickson were literally non existent. The Philly defense shut us down straight up and they were proud too by the way our offense was talked up this week. That's whats embarrassing. We got talked up and it's clear our roots from last year are still very there.

You have to remember this is their home opener, they weren't just going to let us walk in there and run all over them.
You mean like other teams have done the last two years? Our Defense needs some serious work. We allowed their TE to be wide open at least 3 times. And throwing the ball every third and short is bad play calling. They did exactly what I said they couldn't do against this team and that's pass the ball. But the O-line wasn't getting much push towards the end either. Ray was getting stopped at the line of scrimmage. Jacoby Jones was fantastic. Lets throw our bean bag since we're too dumb to find our penalty flag.

No mention of a TE racking over 140+ yards against our D? D was just as bad, who are you kidding.

I normally wouldn't have a problem with the number of passes, but you just shouldn't have 42 passes to 16 rushing attempts when your back is averaging 6.2 yards a carry.

There's no reason not to run it, particularly when you're up 10 points at the half.
I Agree Cam Needs to shape up or ship out who calls all throwing plays in final 2 mins on two really great corners should have mixed in the run and check downs not deep balls
It was way more than 3 times, I'm not saying we didn't play bad; my point is it wasn't going to be easy. Eagles wont go far if Vick keeps getting hit like that though.

That's all that's in his playbook man. It's all 9 routes. Still no modern route concepts, still the same poor playcalling.

Which, sadly, sounds eerily familiar to a situation from last year. A situation where a Ravens wide receiver had a touchdown, that was taken away, which would have been (more than likely) a game-winning score...
