but in all honesty it's a 62 yarder; most FG kickers cant make that.

I don't mean to pass judgment, but that kick went so badly to the right, it probably would've missed from 47.

That's a typical response the bandwagon out here in California gives to make themselves feel good. True fans of any sport don't make distinctions, however, or you start running into the "before expansions, mergers, divisional play, length of playing seasons, playoff formats, whatever-you-choose." Champions are champions, period, regardless of "era", and the Packers have the most.
OK...Here we go...IF you knew the history of football you would have known that the game considered the Super-Bowl was created with the Merger of the AFL-NFL. So for you to consider any other TITLES before the fact is Naive and without merit. So to say bandwagons make the same statement as i quoted is too say they understand and know the history. So taking from your Quote of Champions are champions, Period. regardless of era is CORRECT. Now to say they have more Super-Bowls then Steelers you are off base. And remember a Merger is NOT an expansion! And the game was called world championship for american football until the merger was affected.

LOL my fault I do the same thing with Cris Carter; thinking its Chris and not Cris. I do get your point about the overlapping fan bases, its just I have a hard time picturing a knowledgeable Steeler fan where I come from. I have only met one Steeler fan that was actually honest and didn't gloat about victories. He was a real cool guy. Obviously it would be different if they were from Pitt or PA.
I get it...no love lost between our fan bases...as it should be! I would think you guys will have plenty to cheer about this season. For those ready to write the Ravens off over a tough one point loss...they should wake up.

Jon Gruden just made a point that can be summarized like this: If a team, like the Falcons (in this case), has a key running back, you give him the football in short situations.

I hate to say it, but a certain someone should take note...
