Well Stafford has started out terribly. 3/9, and a lovely pick. Why, oh why are all of my fantasy guys falling apart?
I had a few wins today, but a lot of my players looked like dookie, too.

Stafford definitely going to slump this year.
He's like Dalton and Schaub with a bigger arm. They have one play: throw to your stud WR.
All he does is force passes to CJ anyway.

The Niners are coached really well in all 3 phases. They execute well on offense and defense. They also tackle well and play real disciplined (wish I could say the same for Cary Williams). They just seem like a real cohesive group.

Exactly. And when those bandwagon Steeler fans start crowing about the 6 rings, they don't have a comeback when I mention that it doesn't put them in the same category as the Canadiens, Yankees, and Celtics as having the most league championships. It seems they need to be reminded that that distinction goes to the Packers. I have yet to hear a comeback from them on that!
Since the Merger 1970 when the AFL-NFL. (Considered the Modern Era) Pittsburgh does hold this great distinction of best record in the league and championships. I won't comment on the Bandwagon fans.....Each team has them.

We are going to have to endure the repeat coverage of the Balt/NE game from last year all week! Aaaahhhhhh
I was thinking about this even before our game today. And lets not underestimate them. They still have a good D and after we stunk it up today, I don't know what to think. Just win. Really wish we had Sizzle.

That's a typical response the bandwagon out here in California gives to make themselves feel good. True fans of any sport don't make distinctions, however, or you start running into the "before expansions, mergers, divisional play, length of playing seasons, playoff formats, whatever-you-choose." Champions are champions, period, regardless of "era", and the Packers have the most.

Damn, the Cardinals' special teams have really impressed me the past 2 seasons! Special teams do matter: look what happened to OAK on MNF. Also, kudos to Adam "Pacman" Jones!

Wow, Stafford sacked, call reversed, and on the next play Stafford is sacked again.
I'm surprised he wasn't sacked more (than twice). Offensively, though I was really impressed by SF! Everyone got in on the action: Manningham, Moss, Hunter... in addition to Gore, Davis and Crabtree! Smith is a really good field general. His throws are very deliberate. And of course, Akers is king.

Well Patriots do face the NFC West this year so other than San Fran, that's 3 easy wins.
No it isn't. The Seahawks have an excellent D.

Not in my experience. Born in Pittsburgh, lived in Western PA most of my life...job brought me to South Central PA. Most long term Steeler fans admire the Packer franchise and recognize their accomplishments. They also acknowledge the glory days of Cleveland. In fact, it was only 2 seasons ago that the Steelers finally passed Cleveland for all time wins. It is legitimate to point out that the Steelers have the most Championships in the Super Bowl Era. It's a simple fact. Raven fans go on and on and on about Steeler bandwagon fans. I never ran into this anywhere until I moved here. Most Steeler fans have a connection to Pittsburgh and have followed them for years. All championship teams get some bandwagon fans. You just happen to live where there is an overlap of fans and you think your anecdotal experience with the 3 Steeler fans you work with is typical of all Steeler fans. If I were to go by the Ravens fans I know in SC PA I would think they were the most uniformed, ref-blaming whiners ever and that they throw their team under the bus after every loss. However, I have been to games in Baltimore. I go to some Oriole games and talk to Baltimore fans. Many are well-informed, hardcore fans who hate the Steelers but appreciate the consistency of the franchise and know that the Steelers have a great fan base. Personally, I think the Ravens are a very good football team. They are well coached and play tough, physical football. That's why its a rivalry. I am really not sure what it is some Ravens fans think they are accomplishing by constantly complaining about bandwagon Steeler fans or why they are so obsessed with it.

Obviously you have not met any of the Bandwagon fans here in B-more. Several of the guys I know have never been to Pitt nor can they name any of the players on those great 70's SB teams. Hell, I asked one of them who Lynn Swan was; they had absolutely no clue what I was talking about.

That would be Lynn Swann with two n's. And your post really doesn't offer anything to challenge what I said. I said people are basing their claims on the 3 Steeler fans they work with. Of course, there are some bandwagon fans of teams who win a lot, of course there are some in the Baltimore area as our fan bases overlap. I don't judge the whole Raven fan base by a few clueless wonders...The Steeler nation has plenty of long-term, Pittsburgh connected, well-informed fans.

I love that Billy Cundiff missed the 62 Yard FG. Now you understand why we got rid of him Dan Snyder and Redskins fans.

LOL my fault I do the same thing with Cris Carter; thinking its Chris and not Cris. I do get your point about the overlapping fan bases, its just I have a hard time picturing a knowledgeable Steeler fan where I come from. I have only met one Steeler fan that was actually honest and didn't gloat about victories. He was a real cool guy. Obviously it would be different if they were from Pitt or PA.
but in all honesty it's a 62 yarder; most FG kickers cant make that.
