"Congrats to Ed Reed for breaking Rod Woodsons return yardage(int). The greatest defensive player I ever played with!"

Ummm did he forget that he played with Ray Lewis? Don't get me wrong I love Ed Reed, but Ray Lewis when all said and done may be the best defensive player of all time. I wonder if this was a dig at Ray.

Don't look too deep into it. He's just excited for an old teammate. It wasn't a slight at Ray at all.

I'm 100% positive it wasn't a dig at Ray. I agree with you that Ray is one of the best defensive players of all time but Ed is also one of the greatest if not greatest FS of all time.. I think Eds also the greatest defensive playmaker of all time. So it's justifiable that Mason feels that way. Just his opinion.

Lol... why is it that we're always looking for something to complain about? Ravens fans have the funniest inferiority complex ever. I could understand if we were the Bengals or the Browns who haven't had any real success or marquee talent in decades... we have great players and a great record of success and yet we still look for a slight at every turn. :34853_doh:

Read the McKinney thread while thinking this.
It's one thing about analyst but when a fan sees a 44 point game and an overall great offensive performance and the train of thought is about the front office trying to screw one player...c'mon man

We should appreciate that we have 2 players that we can even call the greatest defensive player. When it comes to Ed there is so much he does to impact a game that we can't fully get. It's not ridiculous for him to say it. This is for sure.. Ray is no doubt the greatest leader there ever was.

He wasn't actually saying that it was a dig, he was asking if the possibility was there. Big difference! I just think it was a quick Tweet and he wasn't thinking about Ray at the time. Ray would probably call Reed the greatest anyway ;).

We get to see the greatest safety of all time and the greatest middle line backer who ever played the game on the field at the same time..........................how great is that?

Congrats to Ed for setting the record on MNF!

Mmm I'm pretty interested in things a guy that literally sacrificed his limbs to help our team win, along with spurning the team that drafted him to retire with us... but that's just me.

Mason is awesome. We need to bring him on as a WR coach!

Man we should hire him as our "comeback route coach". He literally made it an art form.

He really did. He worked out with Kenny Britt so I am curious to see if he will have any plays like that lol
