Heath Evans would hate the Ravens even if we saved his Mother from a burning building

I hate Heath Evans.
I was excited to see how he handled Joe's knockout debut because I know how much he hates the Ravens and Joe.
I could see the anguish in his eyes when he was forced to praise Joe for having a stellar game against his sucky Bengals. There was no arguing how well our team played.
Sure enough, he comes back and personally criticizes Joe for his post-game comments, which he completely took out of context. I personally thought Joe's post game press conference was spot on.
He deflected questions that were designed to make him look smug and handled the press professionally
“Like I said, I’ll leave that to you guys. You guys usually, two weeks after the game, you guys twist that game into whatever you want it to say it was anyways. If you guys decide to start twisting it good in my favor, than I’m all for it.”
How did Heath get his job?? He can't even pronounce the letter "R" and he's an NFL commentator.
Anyways, Can't wait for Sunday to see the boys woop up on the Eagles. GO RAVENS!

The last two seasons the Ravens have lost their Week 2 outings after emotionally-charged, season-opening victories.
When asked about that trend, Evans, who has played alongside Tom Brady and Drew Brees, said Flacco hasn’t led his team well after those games, pointing to the fifth-year quarterbacks’ Monday night quotes as an example.
“[T]he bottom line is this offensive side of the ball has been poorly led by Joe Flacco after big wins,” Evans said, per The Baltimore Sun. “What really scares me is he comes out and runs his mouth after the [Monday night] game about how, ‘I always play good. You should just watch the tape. I do this, I’m this, I’m that.’
“Well, don’t tell people what you do. He had played the best game of his career in my opinion and then comes out and tells us about it. Don’t do that. Let us praise you, and don’t appear insecure because you’re always having to pat yourself on the back.”
It is important to give full context to the quote Evans is referring to.
Flacco was asked after the game whether he felt like this was his year.
“I don’t concern myself about that. That’s for you guys to talk about,” Flacco responded. “I think I play good every year; I think I play good every game. Obviously, we all have things to work on and improve on. I’m doing that just as much as everyone else is.
“Like I said, I’ll leave that to you guys. You guys usually, two weeks after the game, you guys twist that game into whatever you want it to say it was anyways. If you guys decide to start twisting it good in my favor, than I’m all for it.”
The last comment about twisting a story was said light-heartedly and drew laughter from the assembled media.
If you consider Heath’s take a “twist” on Flacco’s story from Monday night, it looks like it didn’t take two weeks as Flacco predicted. It took two days.

In all seriousness, I really don't even know where he is drawing and "twisting" to these conclusions. All I hear about is that your QB in the NFL needs to be confident to have sustained success. But when Joe shows confidence in his ability and his team, Evans twists it as him have poor leadership. I'm pretty sure Ray Lewis, one of the greatest players at any position EVER, has said multiple times in the past that he is proud of Flacco and Rice's maturity to lead the offense...keep barking Heath, its all you are good for.

2009 won season opener then lost second game
2010 same thing.
So is Brady's issue then a lack of leadership or is it that nfl teams are just good and a win is always well deserved.
Oh and yes if I was Heath I'd praise Brees and Brady non stop as I owe them for me having sb rings while contributing very lil

Heath Evans wishes he was a fullback.. U ever watch him play? PleaseHeath Evans SHOULD be a huge fan of the Ravens as they are one of the few teams left in the NFL that still utilize a classic Full Back, but he continues to hate.

Joe Flacco:, 28/29, 350 yards, 4 TDs
Heath Evans: "Yeah but he missed a pass."
Losers always say "Next time's gonna be different!". That's right, next time you're gonna lose again.

Remember when everyone wanted Flacco to be more "vocal?" Be careful what you wish for...Honestly, as a Flacco fan, I wish he'd tone it down with the media as well.

Whatever Joe said is not really smack talk; it just shows his confidence in his game; Joe needs to take Smacktalk 101 from either Pollard or Suggs. I think that really pisses off Bayless and Evans even more...lol
Joe backs it up whatever he said about himself being elite; he'll show it this year for sure.....

Who knows how many Super Bowls he'd have minus Belicheck , the patriot organization and Brady's cheating......
I'll use this quote about Brady from Rodney Harrison "they should put a dress on him" . Brady is a crybaby to the highest degree but gets a free pass from all the media types. I've been critical of Flacco but one of his clipped nails has more toughness than Brady has in his entire body. I've never questioned JF's toughness.

i refuse to come in here and comment on what "any" talking head has to say negatively about the Ravens or Joe Flacco for that matter. especially after he played so well. all Joe needs to do is keep it going!

yeah heath evans and some of the other nfl network personnel ie. jamie dukes and willie mcginest have a habit of dumping on baltimore.
but, the ravens do get a lot of respect from rich eisen, steve wyche, charles davis, michael lombardi and of course brian billick and deion sanders. so it "evans out", if you forgive the horrible pun
