Watching this, A football life is really making me mad even more with Lee Evans for that drop ( lack of concentration ). Watching Ray talk about the road going thru us etc, how it's right there right now.... Ugh ....

YOU got chills? hahaha...I got chills, aches, pains, my heart hurts and i want to cry. Especially seeing Torey push off on Gay for that winning touchdown! Nevertheless, I loved that piece. He is the HYPE-MASTER.

I hope you're not talking about ANYTHING he said during his Harvard speech. He can hype, but that stuff he said is sacred.

Man A Football Life had my 6 year old running sprints in the basement and then working out when he gets home from school to prepare for flag football! He did score a TD!!! Meet My dad Bill Warble!! He was a dear friend of Ray's. Great tribute and great documentary. God Bless Ray Lewis.

Thank you, Donna, and your family, for sharing your dad's connection with Ray for this wonderful documentary. Ray is an amazing human being. As you are grieving your dad you can know how his friendship with Ray enriched his tough last year. Peace to you and your family.

Great player. No denying that.

But, I think the program needed to say a little bit more about the incident in Atlanta. Just leaving it "all murder charges were dropped" and his statement about the families of the victims, etc. seems too superficial.

Of course, you don't have ask something incendiary like "What happened to the white suit?", but the way they approached it kind of sugar coated the whole thing. The murder charges were dropped, but that was the result of a plea bargain. Not because the prosecution felt that they had arrested the wrong man. Ray did plead guilty to a lesser crime (obstructing justice) and got probation. As part of his plea agreement, Ray testified against the other two defendants in the case. Those two men were eventually acquitted but it makes you wonder why Ray agree to do that if all involved were 100% innocent. There was also the huge fine he got from the NFL as well as the undisclosed damages he had to pay to the victims' families resulting from civil suits filed against him.

I think the NFL films could have been fair and still touched on some of that. Imagine how some people would feel if they did one of these on OJ and treated his legal problems in a similar manner. Not saying the circumstances are identical but they both involved two people being killed which is quite serious in my opinion and much more than a speed bump in a otherwise stellar career.

No doubt after watching this - we already knew, Ray is so special!
He is so inspirational, and a father figure to the younger guys, not only on our great team, but throughout the NFL. He likes Baltimore a lot, too!
Can you imagine, if every player was this intense and passionate - we would never lose.
Love this guy - what a man!

I didn't want to start a new topic, but I thought it almost deserved one. Did anyone see Ray Lewis talk on NFL network Around the League? He sounded like he was either drunk (which I doubt) or that he had been hit in the head everyday for the past 30 years. His speech was slurred and he wasn't his "normal" self it seemed. Anyone else see it? Am I way off? It really jumped out at me for some reason....
