Team Maturity

A lot of the guys were in their rookie year or second year last year. I think the maturation of the team will be on display this coming weekend. I expect a very solid effort.

the ravens are a very good team and they know it; the key is not letting ego get in the way following the big wins against top-tier teams, and following through by winning the games against the non-elite level teams. i'm not quite sure if they underestimated their opponents or overestimated themselves, but the result was a loss all the same.

Philly is a team that we should beat.

This year, we have a totally different team offensively; why? cuz Joe is really taking over the offense. Cam gives him the plays in game, but Joe is going to call it.
Joe looks cool, calm, and having fun type of personality when he goes in no huddle offense. When the man is having fun when playing in a highly competitive sport, he will hardly fail in any game....
PS: I play tennis for almost 20yrs; when I'm out on the court and having fun, I am winning all my matches. When I'm reallly serious and intensified to win the game, I get my butt whooped all the time.
BTW, we will win against the Phillies cuz our defense will not carry this team anymore instead they will close out the game for us.....

Let's show this league what we can do!
Thats what im saying, Just Stomp them.
Heck, no one is even bringing up that Flacco only played 2 mins into the 4Th quarter. And the Offense only had maybe 8 drives total , give or take. What hurt our D was the Bengals having a good drive right before the half and then getting the ball back after the half. Thats why our D was gassed for a bit and i don't blame them.

That's true. How we play in Philly will say a lot about how this team has matured since last year. As we all know, great wins last year were followed by some pretty poor showings. Now Philly, despite their opener, is a solid team with outstanding skill guys. A loss is not the end of the world, but a win would say a lot. Improving in certain areas (run D, pass rush) would be a good sign no matter the outcome.

It definitely shows of maturity (or lack thereof). Though to me, it would be how we play rather than the result to a certain extent, as I think Philly has talent.
If we lose but show that Joe can carry it on, and that our D can rush/contain Vick, then that's fine with me (obviously I want us to win). But winning like we did against the Jets last year was slightly frustrating the way played on Offense.

Win or lose, I believe.
