Forte rushed for 126 yards on 22 attempts in the Bears' 27-23 win over the division-rival Detroit Lions.

[b]Tim Hightower[/b], RB, Arizona Cardinals
Hightower led the Cardinals with 109 yards rushing and one touchdown on 22 carries in the Cardinals' 34-13 win over the St. Louis Rams.

[b]Chris Johnson[/b], RB, Tennessee Titans
Johnson rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown and added 72 yards receiving in the Titans' 19-16 win over the Green Bay Packers.

[b]Matt Ryan[/b], QB, Atlanta Falcons
Ryan threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns, completing 17-of-22 attempts in the Falcons' 24-0 win over the Oakland Raiders. Ryan finished with a 138.4 passer rating and controlled the clock for more than 45 minutes.

Rice should have been a nominee for sure, he was the top rusher this week.

Something is wrong here, unless there is a 1 team rule. Forte 126yds rushing and no TD vs Ray Rice 154 yards rushing, 20+yds receiving and no TD. How was he not nominated?!

I think they stacked the deck against us on this one. Joe did excellent but there seams to be a lovefest starting for Matt Ryan and the others. Either that or people are having a fun saying Flacccoooooooew.

But it would have been nice to see both Joe and Ray on the same ticket.

I doubt Flacco will get it this week. Ryan's numbers were around the same. A better completion %, and he was doing it against a tough Oakland secondary.

Ray Rice should have been nominated. That's a bummer. I guess they have too many rookie RBs on the list already.
