Deonte Thompson Is the KR

This was a surprise last night. A pleasant one. The kid had a good night in his spot duties. He's not only fast but there's an IT factor about him that spells future star.

He had a pretty decently long catch from Tyrod later in the game and almost another leaping one but he was out of bounds. He looked good on KRs I just hope he holds onto the ball at all times or people will be crying for his release.

Yea he looked great, even on that leaping sideline grab. No one is going to make that grab, but give him his props for catching the ball. It was a tough play, and if not for the defender pushing him out of bounds, it would have been spectacular.

Hey may be one of those up and coming stars. Seems to be adapting well the learning curve so far. Let's see what he's got.

I'm hoping he'll end up like our very own Victor Cruz.
hes not far behind in ability compared to cruz in 2010.

I still can't believe that they had Webb return a punt. Even though it was just one, it's still inexcusable to have one of the best corners in the league running punts when you have two good returners ready to go.

I also don't understand it. Plus we could reactivate Bobby Rainey to handle punts.

Why wasn't Jacoby returning kicks or punts.
He returned at least one punt that I saw. If he is going to catch better, like last night, I'd rather keep our top three guys healthy. That offense was clicking beautifully.

i think we should put David Reed on IR, we're deep at WR/KR position, cut considine, promote Adrain Hamilton and Rainey to the active roster.............

I hope we hang o to Thompson. He's showing great potential and these questionable hands are looking real reliable lately. Is it me or does he not look that fast when running?

He looks fast. He also reminds me of a young Mason. Lol.

Torrey looks faster to me, though.

Well put. Deonte has a ton of ability, and is only going to get better the more reps he sees. He's gonna be very exciting to watch!

Having a deadly effective special teams is an unexpected surprise this year.

I also think the play with Jones is to only have him returning punts when the game isn't in question. I think the Ravens are attempting to boost his confidence and get a feel for him. See if he's going to keep having the dropsies or whether he's got it together.

Why are we not using this guy. Doss should be deactivated to say the spot for him. I can't believe that he is not returning kicks for us. Jacoby is our third receiver he should just have to focus on that. Deonte can bring some life to this dead offense, and play special teams.

ugh, ok? He had returns to the 45 multiple times. He and tucker were the only spark the offense had sunday and they played ST. Jacoby needs to stay as returner.

Was it him or laquan who had the stupid PF penalty ?
Against Houston? It was Chris Thompson. Deonte has been a good returner, but Jacoby has been better.

We hardly ever go 4 WR anyway because Pitta and Rice are constantly on the field in passing situations.

Really? One guy we are paying 3.5 Million a year as a WR3? Dont think so. We brought him in for his returns, and as you saw last week.........that is why.

He is playing for the same reason Doss is not starting over Boldin.
