I was posting the article from a real website, is what I was trying to get at. PFT is as much of a rumour website as a reporting website.

PFT is actually a good website for NFL News. Though does it matter, as long as we get Suggs back sooner than who cares when they report his return will be.

Suggs is eyeing the Texans game (week 7), Harbaugh is eyeing the Browns game (week 9, after the bye week). Looks like Suggs will have the rust off in time for the steelers.

I don't know how you work but I never believe anything from a rumours based website regardless of the source. I want to know for sure. NFL.com won't report anything until it knows for sure.

PFT is built on unconfirmed reports. It started as a completely 100% rumour website and it still has issues with breaking stories before they're confirmed.

Like I said, who cares who said what about when Suggs will return, the only thing that matters is Suggs will come back sooner and that is the only thing that matters regardless who says it.

I would hate Suggs to rush his return but we need him BADLY... If Suggs isn't injured:

-Vick can't scramble like he did
-More pressure is put on Brady and every other qb
-Jamal Charles can't abuse the defense by running on the edge and up the middle.

I never realized what the defense lost when JJ left and Sizzle got injured. Setting the edge is one of the most important parts of the defense. Suggs does that and rushes the passer. Can't wait till he is back.

I think Suggs will be back by week 9, think we will ease him in , in the wk 9 games ( few reps ), wk 10 maybe half the game if not more and then for the STEALERS game. He will be back maybe the whole game. I still don't think he will be 100% til maybe week 13 or so, that is if he starts week 9 and there arn't any set backs.

Lets just hope.

when the games on the line...no such thing as easing him in. He'll have to play with 100% motor running in order to touch the QB. I hope he is physically ready. We need T-sizzle. If he isnt(physically), wait till he is 100%

According to Chris Mortenson, Suggs has said he wants to return by week 7 against the Texans and regardless is nearing a return. Although I believe we could use him against the Texans, I have my doubts about bringing him back that early.

I think Week 7 is way too early so I'm with Harbaugh on this one. Having him return against the Browns give him a couple games to get back up to speed before the game @ PIT

Since the end of last season he's been on a seek and destroy mission. The way he treated our o line has become a common theme. I remember at least from the Bengals play-off game he has been DOMINANT continuing into this season. Texans have a real special player over there. Before week 5 started he was leading the league in sacks with 7.5. For a 3-4 end to do that is insane to me.

On topic I hope Suggs is brought back in a limited role and slowly worked in. That is the only way I see him back week 7.

I wouldn't mind Suggs coming in as a situational pass rusher, but I don't expect him back until game 9 at the earliest, possibly game 10 or 11.
