Suggs Returning Week 7?

Suggs probably plays at 280. He is not a 260 lb man.

I see Suggs healing quickly but not quick enough to be back before mid to late November. Getting in game shape is much different than getting in shape to workout with the team.

Agreed. He looked a bit on the 'big' side during the Pats game. Anybody who's thinking that Suggs is going to enter the starting lineup in November and go just back to his beastly ways, better temper their expectations.

Nevertheless, having Suggs in the starting lineup (in any form) is better than not having him.

For sure. If he is back by Steelers week, that would be great. Thats Week 11.

Either way I think it works out for us. We get a fresh DPOY Suggs in the home stretch when we need him most.

I don't know, 2009 he ballooned up to 280 reports were and he was terrible that year, had no explosion at all. I think he usually plays around 265 when he's at his best.

Totally on the T-Sizzle wagon but------

What if Upshaw is playing out of his mind by week 8? Say along the lines of Suggs rookie performance. How does that change the rush to get Sizz back in the line up?

I think Suggs is a true professional but 6 weeks off is 6 weeks off. Reed did make his come back and then lead the league in INT. Not sure the impact Suggs has will be as incredible as last year. Hope to be proven wrong though, thats for sure.......

David Reed. Guy is terrible. Deonte Thompson has completely replaced him.

It wouldnt shock me if McKinnie gets cut as long as Reid is healthy.

[/quote]i think it's one of them, Reid to ir if he doesn't get healthy, can always come off if need be, or McKinnie if he does get healthy. It won't be reed because he's on ir so he has no affect already. Unless its maybe kindle. Like for like. Seeng as though he wasn't even active last week

It's not going to be Allen. That would leave us with 2 RBs on the roster, which isn't going to happen.

The dude will be nowhere near football shape by the seventh game. Even if he can play in November, he should sit until the end of November or beginning of December and just be practicing hard to get his legs under him and his wind back. I'm cautiously optimistic.

The thought of having Suggs back is exciting but I don't think his tweets mean he will play by then. He is gonna have to wait until the Pittsburgh game I think. No reason to rush it. He can take a month to test the achilles out and get back in shape, have his own pre-season kinda thing.

Still amazing he can come back this season though. I'm shocked. This is awesome news!

No don't think so.. There's some stat about how many DPOY's teams have and we are right at the top i think.. Other teams DPOY's were spread out..

Saw the stat last year when Suggs won so I don't remember it early
