You beat me to it man! I was gonna post this as a new thread, then saw this one again. I think there's a chance Suggs comes back week 7. Depends where we are at as a team imo. If we win the next 3, i could see us just waiting till after the bye in week 8 to bring him back. Just to be safe.

[/quote]Looking at the schedule it is perfect timing. They could sit him out for the Texans (Schaub got seriously injured today) and then there's the bye for an additional week of rest. And then we have the Browns after our bye so we could either sit him out for that game or use it as a tune up game for the grueling Raiders-Steelers-Chargers-Steelers-Redskins-Broncos-Bengals stretch of the season. If he could go for week 7 that means he could be back to "suggs shape" with an extra 3 weeks of rest/preparation.

Honestly if we can get a fully healed Sizzle back and have a 70% type of impact from him I'll be over the moon. I'll feel much better about our defense with Sizzle and Upshaw doing work together.

Having Suggs back will be HUGE for us. He will really help bring back our defense. We need him really bad. Once he returns I feel like we will get our rush back. I can't wait to see Upshaw on the other side of Suggs. I love the way Upshaw has been playing. Having those two at OLB will be big. I really think Upshaw will show he is an upgrade over JJ like he was supposed to when drafted.

We still need a DE, though. I like Jones and McPhee but we need a Watt-caliber DE opposite of Ngata. We need more interior pass rush.
