Joe, Peyton, and Caldwell

12 posts in this topic

Joe himself is already talented but he needs a great teacher to take him to the next level as "elite."

Tonight game showed Jim Caldwell is a great pick up this season..

Peyton was tearing the Steelers defense apart with his no huddle offense....

Joe is tonight picking Marvin Lewis's defense apart with his no huddle offense as well...

It sounds easy to go no huddle offense but you have to know what you're doing or you will get backfire from it like throwing interceptions and miscues.

Ozzie has been loading up sufficient weapons over the past 4 years to help Joe become who he is thought going to be...

Our next step for Joe is to eliminate the miscues during the no hurddle and make the offense running as smooth as ever...

They can double team Torrey but they can't double Boldin, Jones, Pitta, Dickson, Rice, and Leach at the same time...

Monday night football with the Ravens dominating the Bengals is a great way to start the season and sets off the new Era of Joe's offense..

From now on, the opposing team will be scared not only against Ray Lewis' defense but Joe Flacco's offense...

Our offense will take us to the hump, and our defense will take us over the hump....

I rolled my eyes when I read thread title, thanks for not comparing Joe to Peyton in the post. Joe will grow a lot this year.

I am just ecstatic that we acquire Caldwell cuz with the help of his knowledge and invaluable experiences Joe will definitely grow into a totally different animal.....

I just hope he doesn't get snatched. Poor Joe can't get consistency at QB coach.

im glad you didn't compare either. comparing joe to peyton is just stupid. a good QB coach is not enough magic to turn him into peyton but damn is he improving. i love this offense. nice thread man.

Agreed. I think the speed of the game is finally slowing down for him

It's to hard for me to read, but I just wanna say I think Joe has looked amazing. And it's a shame we couldn't have Caldwell sooner. Also a shame Cam wouldn't trust Flacco until this year. Flacco looks elite.

I'd like to also point out, if you look at Peyton Manning's numbers, yeah he threw for a bunch of yards every year, but he also threw at least 15 picks in each of his first 5 seasons. Caldwell and Dungy got there in Manning's 5th season - look at Peyton's numbers from his 6th season on - his INTs went way down and his TD numbers went up.
