woww really already...

this game got a whole lot easier with joe having a great game. the eagles offense was WAY too 1 dimensional yesterday. we just need to fix that dline and i think we made good adjustments in the 2nd half or we just flat out executed.. i dont know which one.

Too bad the Bengals & Browns are playing one another next week... with the Steelers going up against the Jets -- if the Jets are for real -- depending on who the Bengals and Browns would play... I would love go up 2 in two weeks.

But, we've got a 1-up in the division -- NO LOOKING BACK!!!

In the words of Ray: no one is going to stop us from where we're wanting to go!

Memo: Let's NOT have a repeat of the game against the Tennessee Titans, from last year... * Bad Memories *

Honestly, I don't think I have ever seen a sadder performance in a winning effort by a favorite, than what the Eagles did on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Where exactly did that explosive, way too fast, unstoppable offense go? You know, the one that the "media" hyped-up, once again, this preseason. Oh, wait...

It will be a tough environment. Its the Eagles homeopener so the fans should be fired up and loud. We'll have to see if that has an effect on our new no-huddle offense.

they are anything but one-dimensional. And as excited as I am about our huge win today, the fact we gave up 91 yds rushing to BJGE does not bode well for us facing LeSean McCoy.

I'm really pleased with the play of our secondary though. We held AJ Green in check; Eagles don't have anyone like that. Plus Maclin has a hip pointer injury that could end up being problematic for him next week. I'm not worried about DeSean Jackson. Add the fact that Andy Reid's gameplan is to turn Vick into a pocket passer rather than use his God-given talents, and I like our chances.

End of the day, we have to stop McCoy to be successful

The two things I am most worried about. McCoy and the Eagles cornerbacks. They can also get a pretty good pass rush going against our young O-Line in a hostile environment.

It's going to be tougher than people think. But I still think we should win.

This is just the over rated Eagles. What were they last season, 8-8? Too much ego and too little production. They are not any better than the Bengals.

I agree, those corners are top-tier. I'm guessing Nnamdi is on Torrey Smith and DRC on Boldin; I like the latter. And given how well our tight ends played today, I'm confident, though Kendricks and Ryans are exactly the type of athlete that are meant to cover the modern tight end.

I'm really really confident with how our OL played today, but I agree, Babin and Cole are quite the challenge. The meat of their front 7 is not a great run-stopping unit, IMO, so RR should have a big game.

I think the biggest thing is, our team can NOT get caught up in this win and come out lax next week. PHI will have something to prove given their poor performance last week. We are getting their A game.

That doesn't make much sense. DRC is their fastest corner and I think runs a fater 40 than Torrey so he will be on Smith. Nnamdi is a big physical corner so he will be on Boldin.

I was thinking that would make the most sense. DRC should probably be on Torrey to utilize his speed with Nmandi on Boldin. Pitta should have a nice game. Rice will see a lot more touches than he got today.

I still think the Eagles have a poor run defense. Rice should get the ball at least 20 times in this game.
They style of play tends to open up the opposing team's run game. But the addition of Ryans and Kendricks has improved their run defense greatly over last year.

Hm, you're right that makes more sense. I was just thinking they'd put Nnamdi on our "#1" guy and DRC on our "#2"

Based off the play of the Eagles and Ravens, we shouldn't suffer a week 2 let down like we did last year against the Titans. Considering the Browns defense only allowed the Eagles to score 17 points and we allowed only 13 points, and our offense compared to theirs, I think we could have another dominant win.

I just hope they dont collide into one another. They are both made out of paper mache apparently.

This game is the real test. Babin and Cole vs Oher and Ko. Nnamdi and DRC vs Boldin and Torrey.

Rice will be relied on heavily in this one.
