I haven't read a lot of the comments here, but if you're a fan of The Ravens, there should be NO Flacco haters. The only fans that hate Joe are opposing fans that HOPE he fails.

Oh... so Flacco is allowed to criticize the Ravens defense but he's still a Raven through-and-through, but we're not allowed to criticize Flacco or we're somehow not real fans?

I can't wait to hear all you "real fans" criticize every other part of this team EXCEPT Flacco the next time the Ravens have a bad game. You know, just like you did in the Philadelphia and Cleveland games. "It's the receivers, the line, the playcalling, the defense, etc."

Flacco played terrible in the second half of Philly. Cleveland? He played extremely well. Go watch the game again and tell me how the line and the lack of adjustments for their struggles weren't the problem. Point is there are plenty of fans that can be objective based on what they see every Sunday. You seem to like to twist it to every fan that defends him is someone who thinks he does no wrong.

I'd take Joe though, just cause he's my guy. But McNair was pretty sensational.

Rules were different back when McNair started, but even toward the end of his days in Tennessee, his completion percentage got better but his TD-INT ratio never really did. It might have been different on another team or a different era, but the fact is he never put up the kind of numbers Joe is putting up now, and McNair was pretty bad in just about all of his post-season starts. In body of work, even the limited scope we have on Joe tells me that he is better and will continue to get better.

I don't know anyone here who gives Flacco a pads when he plays bad edreedfromtheu. We just are objective enough to know how much is his fault and how much was on his teammates, the opposing defense, coaching, and also if the game was affected enough by his play to say he lost or won us a game.

Games he lost: Bengals 2010.

Games he won? Pitt last year, multiple.games in 2010 where all points scored were by him.

Games team lost and won: everything else
