WNST just tweeted that he cleared waivers, and has been signed to the PS!

sweeeeet. the kid may not be as strong on special teams as anthony allen, and that's most likely why harbaugh given his background would have favoured him over rainey, but this guy has shown potential of being a solid hybrid running back and returner capable of explosive plays. i'm glad he's back in the system ^_^

I was just as surprised as everybody.

Why do this now? Why didn't they just do this in the final cuts? Also, I think we should use Doss this year, otherwise he's a waste of a space especially that he doesn't play ST and when Laquan is there as well as developing Thompson and Streeter.

Where are the armchair HC's that said "oh there's no way he makes it to PS, Harbs is an idiot"? Silly rabbits. Allen balls out on ST--like he was supposed to--and Rainey's back in the building. Love our management... amused by our fans lol.

I believe he can be signed off our practice squad by another team so he is still exposed. It's too bad we can't flop his position and Jah Reid's position and send Reid to the practice squad. There hasn't been much contribution from Reid that I've seen since he's been on the team.

We had better watch out, the Buffalo Bills need him.

The fact that
Ray, Pierce and Allen all got carries tells me you're wrong
If Rainey was on the roster he would have gotten the touches Allen did. Ya know since every rb got to play
[/quote]

The only reason Allen got a carry was because we won by such a large margin... Do you think we knew we were going to win by that much? Did we foresee the future? Did we know that we'd be in an opportunity to give our 3rd RB a handoff? This isn't rocket science. We did not plan for Allen to get carries; it just so happened that we blew them out giving us the opportunity to give our 3rd RB the ball.
