QB - Tom Brady (NE)

RB - Frank Gore (SF)

OT - Chris Samuels (WAS)

OG - Steve Hutchinson (MIN)

OT - Levi Jones (CIN)

DE - Julius Peppers (CAR)

OLB - Adalius Thomas (NE)

OLB - Shawne Merrimen (SD)

S - Ed Reed (BAL)

S - Dawan Landry (BAL)

Brady is a dominating QB, even when he has average WRs. Gore is probably the best RB in the league, but Tomlinson is the bigger name because the Chargers have the better line and the better passing game. You can score alot of points with average offensive talent if you have a great line. Peppers is extremely fast and capable of getting alot of sacks. Thomas is versatile. Merrimen is a dominant player who changes the other team's gameplan. Reed and Landry are dominant safeties who can pick off passes and take them in for scores.

QB Carson Palmer (Bengals): A top 5 NFL QB, who is both young and experienced and already in his prime.

RB Steven Jackson (Rams): A good mix of power, quickness and ability to catch out of the backfield.

WR Javon Walker (Broncos): A play maker both in the receiving game and in reverses, with sure hands and solid measurables.

LT Marcus McNeil (Chargers): A solid young LT that is monsterous in run blcking and a solid pass-protector.

RG Shawn Andrews (Eagles): A mauling guard that is efficient in all phases of his game.

MLB Patrick Willis (49ers): A solid leader with thhe ideal measurables, speed, leadership and instincts that come from arguably the most important position on defense.

OLB Terrell Suggs (Ravens): A solid pass rushing threat as both an OLB and a pass-rushing Defensive End.

FS Ed Reed (Ravens): One of the best safeties in the league with a nack for making plays.

DE Trevor Pryce (Ravens): A solid mixture of pass rushing and run stopping that has the versatility to play defensive tackle as well.

CB Champ Bailey (Broncos): Arguably the best defensive player in the league, and without arguement, the best corner in the league.

QB: Peyton Manning. Best statistically, now has won a superbowl title with the MVP, unprecedented work ethic. Not a hard choice.

RB: Ladanian Tomlinson. Best all around player in the NFL, he can catch, run, and even block when he feels like it.

WR: Tory Holt. This guy doesn't get any respect and hes a top reciever in the league.

TE: Antonio Gates. He is big, he is strong, he has good hands, and he is fast.

K: Adam Vinatieri. Enough said.

LB: Ray Lewis. Not just the imposing nature that he has, or the physicality that he plays with, but the energy he brings to his team.

DE: Jason Taylor. Hello? Reining defensive player of the year and for good reason.

CB: Champ Baily. He is a beast, can line up with any reciever in the league and shut them down any given Sunday.

FS: Ed Reed. Even though he is coming off of mediocre season, by his standards, his stats lie because of all the dropped picks he had. With all the freedom he is given he can pick off a pass and break the game open with his return yards.

DE: Julius Peppers. An absolute monster physically, can get to the quarterback even when two linemen are on him. Draws enough attention to open holes for his teammates.

If I'm starting a team, I want a bunch of young bucks that can stay around for awhile, that's why I'm going with:

QB - Philip Rivers (tough choice here between Rivers & Vince Young)

WR - Calvin Johnson

WR - Mark Clayton

TE - Kellen Winslow (if only he didn't have such an attitude)

RB - Frank Gore (just because saying LT is too easy)

Defense

DeMarcus Ware & T-Sizzle rushing

Haloti Ngata clogging the middle

Merriman at LB (although like Winslow, I'm not sure about his attitude or his suspension last season)

Ed Reed being Ed Reed in the back

... and yes, I know I'm a total homer

ed reed isn't really a 'young buck', but with that team you'd probably want a leadership figure, and reed probably one of the youngest true leaders in the NFL.
