Our defense frustrated me for a while but man what a great great game. Joe's debut in showing what he can do when the offense actually spreads things out. Reed making history. Ray looking like he's 27 not 37.

Great win for the team though, 37 points from the offense is a nice number. Defense needs to tighten up, some miscues on offense to fix like Joe said, but all in all a good start to the season. The line looked pretty good, but I'm guessing the no-huddle helps with that.

Agreed the defense will have to tighten up. It was great to see them get to put their ears back with a big lead but that won't be as likely with offenses that can go more toe for toe. There will probably be some bumpy/ frustrating times but I see them getting more consistent as the season goes on once the younger guys get more comfortable in their roles. The no huddle does help the line but credit to the players for being conditioned to do it.

This is probably why Oher is playing LT and not McKinnie. It makes me think that the team is really committed to this no-huddle, and if most games go like tonight that's a good thing.
