Alright i need a RB2 pretty bad since SJax hasnt really done much. I mentioned my need in the league and a guy said to shoot him an offer since he needs a WR.

What would the most fair trade be here (one of my wr for one of his rb straight up)

I have:
R. Wayne, S. Smith, M. Colston, E. Decker and D. Amendola

He has:
T. Richardson, F. Jackson, D. Sproles, Green-Ellis, C. Benson

We start 2WR/2RB/Flex

The only wr of mine i dont really want to trade away is Wayne since hes been my most productive and consistent guy. I was thinking mostly of trading either Smith or Colston for Sproles or Richardson. Lawfirm and Benson would only be worth Decker or Amendola i think.

My QB is Brees so right now ive got the Brees/Colston combo, i might be cool with swapping that out for the Brees/Sproles combo.

My RB crew right now is Murray, SJax, Tate, Hillis and Brandon Bolden. Needs help.

Is Colston for Sproles good or Smith for Sproles? Or would that be dumb on my part? I figure Smith and Colston havent been as productive as they were expected to be up to this point and are both somewhat injury prone. Would having Brees, Colston AND Sproles on the same team be too much?
Stay away from the Saints! Their offense behaves completely different every week, especially with their plethora of players. Not to mention, they're always playing from behind due to their post-Bounty Gate D. I'd swap Amendola for BJGE. He's pretty good as far as RB2s go. See if he'll budge on injury and Spiller-prone Fred (Da God) Jackson. Kudos if you get the joke.

In my 12 team ppr money league I'm starting to pick up 1st rounders like Crazy.

1st I traded Santonio Holmes & Ben Tate for Chris Johnson. (CJ then has a big game, Holmes gets injured for the season, Tate gets injured as well.) Win.

2nd I traded Ahmad Bradshaw & Ryan Williams for Darren McFadden.

So my team is packed with 1st round RB talent now. DeMarco Murray, Darren McFadden, Chris Johnson. I also took Mendenhall in the 15th round. Just gotta hope the talent shines through (and I need Vick to step up).

Offered Mendehall/Davone Bess for Victor Cruz to an owner desperate for a RB. He initially drafted Foster/Lynch/Kevin Smith/Mike Bush but traded away Lynch and now has no depth. Trade is going through tomorrow and my WR crew went from solid to ELITE!

I know someone who traded away RG3 this week. He must be psychic: couldn't have come at a better time!
I dont think RG3's setback will have too ill of an effect on him moving forward IMO

If I was in your league, I'd probably vote against it! :P Foster'top dog and Bush gets as much action as Bess and Mendenhall. Anyway, have fun with Cruz!

LOL, i would too if i were one of the other owners. But according to Sizzlebshu, "collusion" needs to be a factor for a veto to be justified. So hopefully no one vetoes me because no collusion here! LMAO

My running backs in my 2nd league are Charles, Martin, Leshoure, Spiller, Matthews and Mendenhall.

My WRs are Hartline, Jennings, Vincent Brown, Decker, and Brandon Lloyd.

Needed a better WR so I traded Mendenhall for Steve Smith (obviously Carolina) wednesday.

6 rushes for 6 yards and left game with Achilles injury. So far I am happy I moved him despite Smith being on bye.

I think i'm good on WRs. I use 3 RBs so I only start 2 WR a week. Jennings will be back by week 8 so I ll roll with him and Steve Smith.

Lol no your worse, you traded turner for lloyd and didnt think you got ripped (how's that working for ya lol) besides you forgot I also through powell in that trade.

anyway i told you I thought you wouldnt accept but I couldnt take a risk on Welker with hernandez and edelman back within this week and the next. Too much risk.

William Powell makes zero difference. He has done nothing so far, and judging by the performance of the more talented Cardinals RBs that have also done nothing, he's probably going to suck. It's still a ridiculous trade offer and any intelligent fantasy owner would laugh at it just like I did.

We are a 1/3 of the way through the season. Too early to say if Lloyd for Turner was a bad trade. It made sense at the time considering I was really down on Turner and high on Lloyd. Right now it looks like I got the worse end of it but then again last season Turner was abysmal down the stretch. It's a wait and see. It's not like Lloyd has been awful. I like the idea of having one of the top receiving targets in the best offense in the league.

Powell does make a difference because he is still the guy in arizona. Just because he has not done anything doesnt mean he has 0 value. Thats like saying Demarco Murray had 0 value because he was backing Felix Jones. How'd that work out again? While you dont know how good he is going to be, you do know arizona will run the ball and that he is the guy who will be getting the ball. Whether he is shonn greene or t rich remains to be seen, but to say he has no value is ludicrous. I dont blame you for rejected it because like I said the only reason I offered it was because it offered you some safety and mitigated the risk of welker losing his place in the offense and the abysmalness that is the bills to me. The other option was not to try anything and just go to wait and see. I tried it and am now in wait and see mode to see what hernandez's return does to welker's role this week and what edelman's return will do to his role next week.

Youre right its still early but the tally is still 4: 1 in favor of Turner. I still will argue that it didnt make sense at the time in any form in the following ways

2nd/3rd Rounder for a Fifth Rounder

Workhorse RB (by workhorse I mean the guy getting the lion's share of the carries) vs A cog in an offense with a million mouths to feed

While the falcon's offense does have a lot of mouths to feed Turner is almost assured that he will get his work while Lloyd varies from week to week (targets vs carries ie One guy gets the carries while everyone takes a share of targets)

While you bet on potential (him being randy moss), you hardly can justify that it made sense at the time. You lost out on value, you lost a more important position for a less important one (good rb is harder to find than good wr), i'd also argue you lost out on scoring consistency

Furthermore while it may be early in the regular season, don't forget we are close to halfway through the fantasy regular season which is about 13 weeks. If Turner manages to outproduce Lloyd in 3 more weeks, than it wont matter if he fades down the stretch because Turner scored more points in 7 weeks vs Lloyd scoring more in 6 at best for the regular season. On a per week basis it would be better to have Turner than it would be to have Lloyd.

I was just talking about ADP (average draft position) at the time. I thought I got it about right. My point still stands though.

Morris is capped if Washington decide to run the ball 30 times. Also he has a TD Vulture named Griffin.

However, I seen what DMC can do on a good day. I have plenty of consistent RBs like McGahee and Ridley. I need a monster that can pick up the slacks of Andre Johnson.

So I'm in a league where the same owner has two elite defenses, SF and Chi. He is looking to move SF for a RB.

I have Foster, McCoy, Martin, Spiller, and Mendenhall. I offered him Mendenhall for SF, but he hasnt replied. Does anyone think I should offer up a better back? I still have byes coming up for Spiller and Foster and Mendenahll is an injury risk so I am a bit hesitant. Maybe offer McCoy for Chicago and a lesser player?

I'd offer Spiller for CHI. Don't bother with SF, they're the #12 fantasy D. They al,ways score in the single digits, except against horrible teams, namely, the Jets and Bills. CHI is just ahead of Rothliesberger and behind AJ Green in fantasy pt this season.

Spiller for CHI as Spiller is in a 50-50 split right now and CHI is better than SF right now.
