What was it that Hines Ward said after they lost to us 34 to 7 last year.... “It’s one game. It’s not the Super Bowl. It’s one game.

I think it stays close most of the game. I think the Giants Dline eats up the Cowboys line, the Cowboys have a formidable secondary and Ware but with Nicks and Cruz Manning can beat any secondary. 24-17 Giants.
Well I got the score right anyhow. Maybe I should just do the opposite of what I think from now on.

Of course, we went on to beat them again, then the 49ers beat them, then the Broncos beat them, whereas we came within seconds of getting to the superbowl. I think most Dallas fans will settle for getting to the championship.

I agree....

But how'd that work out in Ward's case?

Well, just like the players say, this "W" doesn't mean anything if I stink it up the rest of the week. So, I'm hoping I can get at least... AT LEAST ...twelve right first week out. Give myself a bit of a buffer.

That video that was on BR.com's homepage during last year's playoffs was awesome.

I know, man. It gives me chills any time I watch it even now.

Ogletree is probably a flash in the pan. This years Laurent Robinson.

I knew everyone was overrating the Giants. They've always been a sub par team at best during the regular season. I picked the Cowboys to win, and dang nabbit they did just that.

I mean if you really look at the two teams, Dallas does decent in the regular season, falls flat in the playoffs, and the Giants fall flat in the regular season, but make a run in the playoffs.

Yes, you have a point. Though look at the NFC East last year, it was overall a bad division. I mean 9-7 won the division, and we saw how important it was for the Giants to beat the Cowboys to be able to have the sweep to get them to the playoffs. Dallas starts tonight 1-0 in the division and the Giants start out 0-1, and Dallas already has the H2H tiebreaker. This could go a long way to determining the NFC East Champions.

Picked the Cowboys to win and sure enough they were the better team tonight. I've always felt Romo was a better QB than Eli Manning though.

Before the season started I picked Dallas to win the division and remain confident in that prediction.

I approve of NBC hiring Michelle Beadle though!
Heard she was fired from ESPN for trying to sleep with Rodgers at an ESPY after party.

On topic it seemed Dallas got away with some holding which will hopefully work in our lines favor. These refs aren't exactly top notch.

I dont think Romo is better. He always seems to choke and most of their TD's came on the lower than average backup CB's. I will say Dallas' D looked good most of the night.

True, but they were on top of the false starts. They may have a field day with Oher. I hope I'm wrong though.

Yeah... as someone else said it's not that hard to pass on 4th and 5th string corners.

Either way, Dallas starts out strong and has a great chance at going 2-0 against the Seahawks, even though Seattle's D may make it a little tougher on Romo.

At least the Giants can.... wait who I am I kidding. Bucs could even pull off the upset next week against the Giants and drop them to 0-2. If these same Giants show up next week, and the season, they are in trouble.

Normally I'm a bit relaxed watching other teams play but this one had my palms kinda sweaty; we'll be playing this division this year so I took a good hard look at both of these teams. Tackling for both defenses was atrocious, Dallas's O-line is a real mess and Eli's 4th quarter magic never materialized.

Demarco Murray did well against the Gints but don't think he'll fare as well against our Run D

Pressure the QB and have our offense do the things I know they can do and both of these teams are beatable.

P.S. The officiating was not as bad as I thought; an obvious P.I. call was missed and Demarcus Ware was held like a prom date for most of the night. (At least they got the Teams right)

My kind of game...now hurry up Monday!

I really don't like, that the Cowboys won, because now we have to deal with Dallas inflated ego and them talking they will win the Superbowl for the rest of the season. That sense of entitlement that a team, which has such a hard time even getting to the playoffs, has is ridiculous and unappealing to me.

I hate them both. I hope they tie with the score 2-2. Or 3-3. Or just all FGs and no TDs by either of these QBs. They both annoy me. Actually, the entire NFC East annoys me. :P

Okay, I feel better now. I'll watch but only because I love football and I'm hoping the replacement refs are good for a laugh or two.
The game was good, especially later on--but I'm getting sick with all the saccharine commentary on how great the 2012 Cowboys are. Romo this, Ogletree that...blah, blah, blah...

They need some other teams to talk about lol.

I guess when you're worth 2 billion you can act like that. They'll be in our house in a few weeks and that ego will be a nice target for #52 and company.
