Don't know why but I'm tempted to go with Cleveland over Philly as my upset of the week.
I don't have a week one upset. I just went with all favorites.

Yeah that is the one thing I noticed, there really is no noticeable upset in Week one, just seems pick the favorites and you'll have a chance at winning.

I'll just go with the teams I'd like to see win. (If I find out there's a trip to the Super Bowl as a prize for the most accurate predictions, I'll be back to change a lot of these.) I think someone needs to pick the Titans over the Patriots - I'll be the guinea pig.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants: Cowboys
Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears: Bears
Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns: Browns
St. Louis Rams at Detroit Lions: Lions
Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans: Dolphins
Atlanta Falcons at Kansas City Chiefs: Falcons
Jacksonville Jaguars at Minnesota Vikings: Vikings
Washington Redskins at New Orleans Saints: Redskins
Buffalo Bills at New York Jets: Jets
New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans: Titans
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals: Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers: 49ers
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Buccaneers
Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos: Broncos
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens: Ravens
San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders: Raiders

I think my only upset this week is the Cowboys beating the Giants tomorrow. Pittsburgh over Denver and Buffalo over NYJ are technically upsets based upon the percentage picking them, but it's a small margin and those people are wrong. Peyton will struggle in his first game back, and the Jets are a joke. And if Ike Taylor doesn't shank Demaryius Thomas I'll be very surprised.

Now that is Bold. I was waiting to see who would pick the Cowboys, but Pittsburgh over Denver? Tim Tebow beat them, Mark Sanchez has even beat the Steelers. Now they face Peyton Manning, no way Denver loses, that defense is going to take advantage of their weak offensive line.

When has Ben played with a good offensive line? He's used to it by now. They're still pissed about that playoff loss, with or without Tebow there. They ain't losing that game. I don't understand how people think that Peyton Manning is going to suddenly come back as good as he was before after a year off like nothing ever happened. He has an entirely new cast, and as we saw in (I believe) the last season he played in Indy when everyone was getting hurt it takes some time for him to adjust to new personnel in game situations. He's going to be rusty, and he's going to get beat.

You'd "like to see" the Browns beat the Eagles? Why?
Only because if they can beat the Eagles, it bodes very well for us the following week in Philadelphia. Has nothing to do with actually liking the Browns or disliking the Eagles.

I can't believe I missed the league this season. I've had so much stuff going on that I couldn't get around to it.
Here are my picks anyway...

Sunday, September 9th:
-=1:00PM=-
Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears (Bears)
Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns (Eagles)
St. Louis Rams at Detroit Lions (Lions)
Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans (Texans)
Atlanta Falcons at Kansas City Chiefs (Falcons)
Jacksonville Jaguars at Minnesota Vikings (Vikings) (?)
Washington Redskins at New Orleans Saints (Saints)
Buffalo Bills at New York Jets (Bills) Unless the Jets have been lying about their offense all preseason
New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans (Pats) Could be very close

-=4:25PM=-
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (Seahawks)
San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (Packers)
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bucs) HFA

-=8:20PM=-
Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos (Broncos) Gonna be fun to watch this one

Monday, September 10th:
-=7:00PM=-
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (Ravens!)

-=10:15PM=-
San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders (Chargers) Can the Chargers start strong for once?

I've picked more away teams than usual in week 1, let's see if being aggressive pays off.
I really haven't spent as much time following teams other than the Ravens this offseason, and I no longer have cable to help see the highlights, gonna be an interesting season for picking...

Go Ravens!!!

Yup, at least on the BR.com league. On my other pick'em league, all of us (20 total) picked the Giants.

I'll have a terrible record for sure but saw this game coming from a mile away...

Giants only went 9-7 last year.. They just got hot at the right time
