i think this is the year that we take the next step forward with our offense and dont rely on the defense as much. I think we will be a bend not break defense, i dont care if we give up 500 yards a game if we only allow 13pts or so. I think with torrey looking so much improved that he blows up this year and helps us be a top ten offense. I also believe Joe shows how much hes worth, posting record numbers in every category, 4k+ yards, 30tds, low ints. It seems a lot of people like to jump on our bandwagon but as the year goes on they abandon ship pretty quickly. I think Joe shows hes right on the cusp of a tier 1 qb, he will never be in that elite category as long as we have rice but i think he will be top of the tier 2qbs. He showed in the AFCC game he can show up in big moments, all we need is consitency games, no jacksonville repeats for the love of god.

At the risk of joining the dog house next to you, I love our rivalry and would openly admit that if Baltimore didn't get our football team back, I would be a Steelers fan right now. Simply because we both play football the way it's meant to be played.

I think statistically, Flacco and Ben will have similiar seasons -- I dont see either putting up significantly better numbers than the other.

The real question is, which of us wins the division...and all bias aside, I think it will be us for one simple reason -- Flacco. Throughout our rivalry, our odds of winning directly correlates to our success passing the ball against you; and I think that this is the year Flacco gets his big boy card stamped...

I personally put more stock into what Kurt Warner or Phil Simms said about Joe this off-season or Theismann said about our QB last off-season. These guys atleast are accomplished former QBs. Heath Evans and Jamie Dukes were at best average NFL players.

I think he lost a bet. That's the only way I could ever believe Dukes would say anything positive about Flacco. Remember, this is the guy who said that his "sources" in the Ravens locker room didn't believe in Flacco back in December/January. Now all of a sudden, in ONE offseason, without any meaningful snaps being taken, he's on the bandwagon? Please, the second Joe throws a pick, Dukes will be back to his old self.

He gets no credit 'cause he didn't man up. He said "I've bashed Flacco in the past, and deservedly so. The #s bear that out".
All he did was say that he was right then and that he is right now.

dukes can praise Joe and the Ravens all he wants, but nothing he says will increase his credibility. I seriously think he just reads and listens to others. And then he spews his unoriginal dramatic rants as if they are some great revelation. No dukes on my tube.
