Jamie Dukes Believes in Joe Flacco...

62 posts in this topic

I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't hear it myself. He says the light bulb has gone off for Flacco and thinks we make it to the SB. Maybe he's finally starting to come around or actually decided to watch film.

Or Maybe Flacco is playing to his full potential?

Not for nothing, going back to his sophomore year, Flacco had been pretty good in 2 minute/hurry up situations. It's not his fault he wasn't put in them or given the control a qb should have who's been a system for that long. I get where you're coming from though.

I just have seen it on NFL.COM and HAD TO comment on it. That's it you guys. You all thought those Mayans didn't know what they were talking about. Well the joke is on you now.

I didn't value Dukes' opinion when he was speaking trash about us, it would be hypocritical of me to start paying attention to it now just because he's saying good things about us! He's just jumping on the bandwagon.

I agree. I still dont care about his opinion but I thought I heard wrong at first. And as Mod 3 said I feel now the season is over with everyone trying to hop on the Flacco bandwagon. I guess there's still Sapp and Evans.

MAybe so, audibles like crazy, Joe calling blocking schemes like Manning, going through his progessions finally, Boldin playing slot and hitting slant routes.

On Joes play, audibles and calling blocking schemes, I think its more Caldwell than Cam

Steeler fan here (ducks as things are thrown my way) and I just have a few things to say...

1st: I applaud Jamie Dukes for picking two real smashmouth teams to play for the right to go on for a chance at the title. It seems as if everyone else is predicting Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to meet for that right. I can't see it. Steelers-Ravens in an epic AFCCG war.

2nd: I'm not saying the Steelers could go undefeated, but the only team that I ever worry about on our schedule is your Baltimore Ravens. Lebeau FINALLY changed his tactics and the Steelers dominated New England last year. I really thought that the Ravens would too.

3rd: There is alot of downright dislike between the two teams and their fans, but that is what makes this rivalry the best in the nfl...hell, the best in any sport.

4th: Which QB is gonna have a better year, Ben or Joe? Which (supposedly old) defense is going to finish 1st in the league? Which team will have 12 wins? Which one 13? Which of these two AFC North powers is going to host that Lombardi??

So, in closing, as much as I can't stand the Baltimore Ravens, I do respect them. And their fans.
