Corey Graham is a proven veteran-that's why he is officially listed above Gorrer.

Ivy couldn't cover anyone. Granted, he looked All-Pro when compared to Walker but he wasn't very good, imo.

Gorrer is a talented guy, I am glad he is a Raven, but I am not ready to rebel against the coaches just yet on the cb's. Although they played Foxworth, who got destroyed by Kenny Britt, when he was just not the same after his knee injury, so the coaches don't always make the right decisions.

Agreed.......Ivy and Walker hurt our team, they were not good players.

hahahahahahahahahahhahahahaah where are all you football evaluators now?

Give it a rest. I realize that we have never ever made questionable roster decisions (by never, I mean a lot), so clearly it is foolish to doubt the decision to cut a guy who played pretty well in the limited time he got (yes, more sarcasm). You've proven your point .... assuming that your point was that you didn't have anything worthwhile to contribute to the discussion :)

Sure the Ravens make, what look like, questionable roster decisions all the time, but we do not see the whole picture. We see a few preseason games (which are poor reflections of actual games) maybe followed a guy in college (another poor reflection of real NFL games) and "heard" some things from the various camps. The coaches have watched all the film, seen all the plays, know all the stats, and have to take into account cost, other players, and the goals of the player in question. We know a fraction of the information that is used to make roster decisions. And even that information is colored by our own prejudice for or against a player.

With all that info, do the Ravens always make the right decision? No, but they do pretty well overall. I will trust thier greater knowledge and experience. (and still wonder why certain decisions were made.)

Rather than run this old argument AND the new one, please take it to the "Danny Gorrer Cut" thread.
