$96,900 for anyone curious how much they make in a regular season lol
[/quote]

Yeah, I'd be okay with that in 4 months!

Hell yeah. And if someone gets injured, you get more when you crack roster.

Would I be judged poorly for hoping for (light) injuries? Ha

Yeah I know right lol they probably feel guilty for hoping for injury, dui or Plaxicoing one's self.

You can probably add Antoine McClain and Cyhl Quarles to this list. The team seems to like them.

So upset Boren is on IR , played great this offseason

Hahaha!

I liked Boren a lot, but his pass pro was suspect at times. I also don't know how well he did getting to the second level, which is something we ask our guards to do often.

Brown, bynes, and AA make the practice squad.

Surbrised AA was elligible.

Boren, Figgins, Balasavage, Ricky Brown (LB), Berry, and Streeter won't be on the practice squad because we placed them on IR, so they will be with us another year unless we do an injury settlement. That eliminates a few guys right there.

Sad to see the Kitchen go to Cleveland. They also got Tank Carder.

Personally, from OUR guys I would like:

1. S: Omar Brown
2. OLB: Chavis Williams
3. NT: Nicholas Jean-Baptiste
4. OT/G: Jack Cornell
5. LB: Nigel Carr or Josh Bynes
6. RB: Anthony Allen
7. Eh....

That's essentially in order. Brown was my favorite guy who was cut. Williams is good depth in case someone goes down on injury. I liked Baptiste. Cornell played well. Bynes was good but was injured (I thought he was placed on IR?), and Carr was OK but not great (still good enough to go on the PS). Allen is on that list because he was a draft pick. I'm not even sure if he is eligible. If not, I won't care.

Really, I would only keep Brown, Cornell, and Baptiste. If we can find someone better than Williams I would. We need a QB for the PS, though. Without a doubt.

Edit: Well, looks like we just signed 5 guys while I typed this.

1. RB: Anthony Allen
2. S: Omar Brown
3. LB: Josh Bynes
4. T/G: Jack Cornell
5. G: Antoine McClain

Adrian Hamilton is a pass rush specialist; had 20 1/2 sacks last year for Prairie View A&M (D1 FCS)

Glad to see Omar Brown be brought back, even if he's only on the practice squad. Whether those 3 fumble recoveries were pure luck or not, at least Brown showed that hustle and did everything he could to try-and-make the team. As long as no one else snatches Omar from Baltimore's practice squad, he's a nice, little project that can be developed in a season-or-two. I just hope the Ravens bring back Nigel Carr, though...

Oh, and apparently, Anthony Allen can be placed on the practice squad because he only suited-up 5 times, last year. I knew he was on 53-man roster, but I thought Allen would have been dressed more than that. Never realized the Ravens actually went with only Ray Rice and Ricky Williams (as the only HBs) for practically the entire season in 2011 until now...

The only options, the Ravens had for a practice squad QB, were Chester Stewart and John Brantley. Neither are worth a PS spot and, most likely, both of their NFL careers have already finished, unfortunately.

My understanding is he should not have been eligible, since he was on roster last season.

To be ineligible you need seven active games, and AA had only 5. That said, he is still a waste of a spot. I'd much rather see a player that has a chance to make the roster later. It isn't like we're hurting for talent at RB, or about to lose someone next year.

He was only active 5 games. To be ineligible, you have to be active 7 games.

Edit: Beat me to it. :P

I like having him there, since he's a competent special teamer and knows the system. Still a good athlete. What happens if Rice goes down?

You beat me to it, lol.

Anyway, I think the idea is to avoid wasting a draft pick and also we can use him to game plan for those big backs (or at least hope to, anyway. He never was a bruiser...sadly)
