That's gotta be the reason. I just don't see Harbs, Cam and Jerry being like " we need to get David Reed back STAT!". He will make it on another roster but we really don't need him with Rainey and Jacoby on the team.

Ozzie, and Decosta, and Harb all like David Reed. I see David Reed contirbuting for us. Of course that would sound crazy to you, but his a playmaker if he can stay healthy

We don't see every practice. However, we can make an educated guess based on what we have seen in games and heard from reports. Doss doesn't seem to have earned himself a spot from that. Kindle as well.

All I know is that Doss did nothing in the preseason, and spent more time on the injury report than he spent getting noticed by reporters.

Not that I want to get in another back in forth lol. But a point should be made practice transfers until games. That's why Ray says he works hard every single practice. Preseason has a very small sample size especially for receivers. Look what happened with Torrey.

The whole Doss vs Payne thing, I'd rather take the young player in Doss than the veteran that's done nothing in the league in Payne. Also Doss looks this year to me. When he got mixed in with starters he looked good.

Highly doubt Reed will push one of those receivers almost halfway through the season.

Doss had looked good all preseason which is saying something considering he was fighting to get over a hamstring. He made a few very nice catches and clearly looks faster and more explosive out there. If you want to complain about a player that shouldnt make the team ill point you towards Sean ;Considine. He already has two concussions and his play on the field was less than impressive.

Someone should do a new thread to predict the roster on Sept. 16. You know how Ozzie loves to work the waiver wire, but holds off signing vets until after the first game if he can. Contracts aren't guaranteed until then.

I hate Sean Considine. I just want to put that out there. He should be permanently cut. Haruki Nakamura is a huge upgrade over that guy. Hell, Tom Zbikowski is, too. I only mentioned Haruki due to him going to the Panthers and Considine was with the Panthers last year.
