Cannot believe what I saw from Bama. Did Cam become their OC after half time?
Did Billy Cundiff become the LSU Kicker all of a sudden? Wide Left, Alabama has a chance.

NICE! Way to go Tide! I think Yeldon is honestly better than Lacy. Lacy tries too many spin moves. Yeldon just goes north and south. And how bout AJ on that drive? Showed a lot of concentration and was just awesome. Come on Bama D

EDIT: Wow. What a game. Dang. Both teams played great. Hats off to LSU. Even though they were trash talking a lot. AJ fought back after doing almost nothing in the second half until that last drive. Dang. That guy and Yeldon were amazing. Wouldn't mind getting Barret or Warmack from their O-Line. We could use an LG and a C and both of those guys are amzing.

That was a great game. Alabama came up big when needed. I thought LSU controlled the game rather well and if they would have converted on one of those crazy Les Miles calls they probably would have won

What a drive from McCarron there.
You know what amazes me, Alabama has had some amazing teams since Nick Saban returned to Alabama but yet none of their QBs are high round Quarterbacks, why is that? I still believe Greg McElroy can be a solid NFL QB if the Jets figure out he is the best QB on the team but something tells me McCarron could make for a great NFL QB in the future.

Alabama had the craziest comeback drive! Everyone thought they were too far behind, but you can never underestimate the Crimson Tide!

I can so understand why NFL teams would turn away from hiring Nick Saban as a Head Coach, but I think he really deserves a second chance at being a Head Coach in the NFL. I also believe Les Miles deserves a chance as well. I know the popular opinion is Chip Kelly but considering the success Pete has had in Seattle and what Jim Harbaugh has done in SF in under 1 and a half years, I wouldn't be surprised if more NFL teams look at college coaches.

Am I the only who thinks Alabama's QB looks a little like Tim Tebow.
He does. Except unlike Tebow, McCarron can pass. He had a rough game tonight, but he was playing LSU. And their offense coordinator was Cam Cameronesque. Their RB's trucked over LSU most of the game, yet the OC was calling passing calls on 2nd down. Awesome game though.

I'm still mad PITT's kicker missed that FG, they could've pulled off the upset of the year!
Not me. It's Pitt. Stoolers or not, they're in the same town. Deuces.

I agree on McElroy, and I'd add that McCarron has to be getting some NFL looks. He's been lighting it up against SEC defenses, or at least doing what passes as lighting it up in the SEC, and still hasn't thrown a pick this season. The stats weren't great against LSU, but they're the second best defense in the conference, probably the country, and he showed up when it mattered. That last drive there is as close to the NFL level as you can get in college.

Agreed. And he didn't throw one against Mississippi State who supposedly had the best defensive backfield in the nation.

I would agree - I wouldnt want Saban as the Ravens HC but I would like to see it happen. I also want to see Kirk Ferentz one day make the transition to the NFL, it may be getting too late now but I think he is an amazing coach.

It just doesn't make sense for an NFL team to try and pry him away from Alabama just now. Any team that's looking at him is probably a couple years away from competing for the playoffs and Saban's playing in the National Championship pretty much every year.

He also does a stellar job producing Defensive talent for the next level.

Franklin will definitely play in the NFL. He wont be an everydown back but he can be a dynamic change of pace/3rd down back. He's explosive and can catch the ball well out of the backfield.

Great game today too. UCLA really brought it against USC.
