hey, we're not saying he's a legend but we're just evaluating with the 2 backups that we do have and painter is better. yes the 2 deonte passes were sloppy but you take the good with the bad with painter. i feel more comfortable knowing we can win with painter than tyrod. every time tyrod comes in, i hope we can just get a 1st down

Painter might be a tad better right now, but not by much. Also Taylor is still developing. This is only his 2nd year! The only thing Painter has on him is expierence, that's it. Painter is still absolutely terrible.
I would be beyond pissed if we kept Painter over Taylor. To me there is no way that happens. If I had to choose one player to win the game on one last drive between the two I'm choosing Taylor no quetion about it lol.

Calm down ACE.. Tyrod is a horrible passer... Painter has more experience, better grasp of NFL defenses... he's a better Qb.. Granted, we drafts Tyrod so we probably won't cut him.

Put it this way. Painter was a starting QB, albiet on a horrible team with injuries. You would have to be smoking crack to think that if Joe goes down in a real game, we would be starting tyrod of painter. One is a pocket passer with NFL experince and is more mobil than people give him credit for. The other is a vick wannbe who doesnt do anything vick does well.

I would have liked to see Painter with our starting Oline to see how he faired.
