My 3rd Annual Work League

Just though id share how my DoD(department of defense) work league went.
This is my 3rd year with the league but they have been doing it for 5.
There were 2 leagues going on at on time. One was $100 and the other $200. I always spend too much on fantasy so i went with the latter.

I came in 2nd last year, with former Detroit Lions LB Jordon Dizon coming in 1st. But i see a different outcome this year..

Both leagues are 12 team PPR settings with KR/PR points as well. I had 7th overall pick and i came up with this roster.

QB:Big Ben (PIT)
RB1:LeSean McCoy (PHI)
RB2:Demarco Murray (DAL)
WR1:Eric Decker (DEN)
WR2:Percy Harvin (MIN)
TE:Aaron Hernandez (NE)
Flex1:Steven Jackson (STL)
Flex2:Kendall Wright (TEN)
K:Matt Prater (DEN)
Def/ST:Baltimore

Bench:
Jake Locker (TEN)
Mendenhall (PIT)
Randy Moss (SF)
Deangelo Williams (CAR)
Jacquizz Rodgers (ATL)

i think you ended up with a pretty good team other than big ben. what pick did you have?

if youre getting kr/pr points Id would have gotten sproles for sure (seems like a monster in this). Id shoot the owner an offer.

I think he was taken in the 2nd round, and also i have a butt-load of RB's.
I tried to get Antonio Brown in the 4th but he was taken a few pics before me. He was an absolute stud for me last year in the KR/PR category.

I had the 7th overall pick.. I think it's a team that's a lot better than on paper, especially in a PPR setting.

I would shoot some offers for the following players

Desean Jackson - Vick and Shady both endorse him as the guy in Philly this year + he's a beast on KR
Darren Sproles - Amazing - dont care how but get him
Antonio Brown - like you said he is a stud.

Im pretty content with my players, especially with a healthy Harvin and Decker i think my KR/PR's will do fine.
Sproles would be too high of a price for my liking and the Brown owner is a huge Pittsburgh fan so he isn't giving him up unless i was offering Megatron (which i dont have).

thats awesome, ive always wanted to do a live draft but when ppl in the league are all over the country kind of hard lol.

Yeah live draft's are the best. I wouldn't know what fantasy football was until i did my first live draft 5 seasons ago with my brother and his friends.

I've always felt like it doesn't feel like you're really in a league until you actually do one.
