Im not going to list every player or every stat line possible, but im sure some will and i look forward to seeing your guys predictions.

Considering we now have six perfectly good wide receivers and three good catching tight ends to play around with, I would certainly hope Rice gets fewer receiving yards.

Yeah. My point is that reacting in horror to the thought that Ray might have a record low in receiving yards is actually better for the team, and for Rice's longevity.

I don't think you are too far off. Rice will have many yards on the ground and in the air but not as many as in the past if the passing game improves. I see Torrey Smith possibly having a breakout year for as high as 1,300 yards. We would all be happy with 1,000 though. Flacco is due to finally surpass 4,000 yards. I think Boldin will be up there around 800 yards again.

I think those are great predictions -- and I also think that may be Flacco's floor, not ceiling, for this season..a lot will depend on how our defense looks this year.

I think this is the year Flacco makes a huge improvement, cracking 4,000 yards for the first time. 27 or so TD also sound about right.

So, my prediction:

Flacco - 4,088 yards, 27 TDs

But I am hoping for more, since he is my starting QB on my fantasy team

Yeah Flacco has better receivers not just Rice.
Thanks for helping me out.

I kinda think Boldin receiving yards will be atleast 900 or 1,000 . I just dont see him staying in the 800 + receiving yard level especially sense it seems the ravens offense will use more plays that fit his strength

Boldin's reception total should increase if he is used more in the slot than as a wideout. That was the plan last year before Evans was injured than imploded and did little to nothing. We signed Jones to be the speedy second wideout that can draw coverage away from Smith and Q. The tight ends coming back strong is another variable. Without that go-to man in Pitta and Dickson, good coverage teams will be able to focus solely on the wides and slot. I still see Rice as being the man for short passes and screens. He has excelled in this role. Why mess up a good thing?

RE: Leach: 3 TDs (1 passing). I am amazed at the emergence of Leach as a receiver. I was at the Jags game when he caught the ball and put his head down as a battering ram to punish the tackler rather than trying to get out of bounds. The man is really unique.

I'm convinced that he just runs into brick walls as practice.

Flacco, I say 4100 Yards, 26 Tocudowns, 10 picks. I'll even give him 100 rushing :P

Rice I say 1100 Yards rushing, 900 Receiving. Runs in 11 for Tds. Catches 4. Throws 2 touchdowns, 1 pick.

Boldin and Torrey both over 1,000, Dickson and Pitta combine for 800

Defense finishes outside top 5 but still in top 10. Suggs back for playoffs, Sacks Big Ben three times in Championship game (this is a biased prediction :) )

We finish 11-5, tied with Bengals. I'm betting it comes down to ridiculous tie breakers to see who wins it, so I don't know who to pick.

Rice I say 1100 Yards rushing, 900 Receiving. Runs in 11 for Tds. Catches 4. Throws 2 touchdowns, 1 pick. 900 receiving? i would hope not, that would mean we are relying too much on him and not expanding the offense to the other WRs

The talking heads on NFL AM called the AFC North for the Ravens this am. All three of them. They cited the offense. Everybody from Joe to Dennis got high praise from them. They are just three of many, but they have no loyalty to Baltimore, for any reason.

PASSING
J. Flacco
4200 yds 31 tds 15 int

RECIEVING
T. Smith: 1150 yds 9 td
A. Boldin: 850 yds 6 td
J. Jones: 375 yds 3 td
L. Williams, T. Doss & D. Thompson/T. Streeter: 225 yds 2 td

Tight Ends: 950 yds 7 tds
Running Backs: 650 yds 4 tds

RUSHING
R. Rice: 1250 yds 12 tds
B. Pierce: 425 yds 6 tds
B. Rainey/D. Berry/V. Leach: 175 yds 2 tds
J. Flacco: 125 yds 2 tds

Record will be 11-5 or 10-6; Ravens could still win division, as it could come down to tie breakers.
But looking at the Steelers schedule, compared to the Ravens' theirs is a cakewalk.

The Steelers' toughest games are against NY Giants, Baltimore (2x) and Dallas. They get Peyton early in the season when he's still rusty and not yet acclimated to his new team & new scheme. The rest of their schedule is a joke.

I hate to say it but based on strength of schedule, Steelers could be 12-4 or 11-5.
Bengals will either be 8-8 or 9-7.
