Ravens Camp Report: It's time for Flacco, offense to lead the way

All of a sudden, Torrey, Anquan and Dennis, with Ray coming out of the backfield and Joe throwing the ball seems more dangerous than it did a year ago.

The comments were pretty funny lol. Steeler fans crack me up. Joe is throwing bullets out there and it scares them to death. Denial is their only comfort.

Same old stuff. Ray and Ed are old. Suggs is out. Even a "haven't beaten the Steelers in the playoffs" made its way in there.

Surprised he called us incredibly healthy when we have a bunch of players who are still missing time because of injury. And a number of players just IRed.
Put it this way: against Jacksonville the Jaguars totaled 571 yards of offense, had five drives of 80 yards or more, and the 48 points they scored was the most ever by a Ravens team in preseason
Is he trying to say the Jaguars beat themselves up?

Aside from that, I can't argue with the article. Those Steelers fans, they're so silly. I can just see every Steelers fan suffering from bed wetting two weeks out of every year for at least the next several years.

oh man our offense is going to be dangerous this year.. flacco is looking super accurate, except with someone on the deep ball besides torrey, which i guess when he gets more comfortable with them it'll get better. i am really excited though to see how joe plays. i really think he will be a top 5 qb this year.

with all that being said, i still think we will be a dangerous defensive team. a lot of people have kinda of implied that if we dont put up 48 points a game, we're losing. look, ed and ray are pretty old, but are still playing at a higher level than the average mlb and fs!! and dont forget ngata and webb who were both all pros.. carry williams is not terrible, stop hating on him! and dont forget the patriot slayer BP. we have some young pass rushers, who i think just need a little time to get used to playing in the nfl. dont worry we'll be fine

we will still run the ball more than most of the league so i dont see that happening....plus if we become a pass first offense then i rather just trade rice for picks or olinemen but thats the reason why joe wont be a top five because we have a stud at RB and we actually run the ball

People in the comments still talking crap about Ray Lewis 2000 incident.. It's so stupid, makes me annoyed.

Yeah, anytime you have a top 3 RB, it's hard to put up elite stats as a QB. But I think that things are going to change this year; I think we'll see Joe end up with around 580 attempts this year, which is enough attempts to accumulate some great numbers, assuming that he plays as well as we expect him to.

Being a coach for the juniors football league locally, the one thing that annoys me (and probably because I see so much of it from T. Smith) is when receivers want to lean their head straight back when trying to track a ball. I think T would be a really good deep threat but he needs to start looking over that inside shoulder.

In the past, we didn't have anyone fast enough to get down field to take advanage of Joe's arm, before the O-line broke down! Now I see two, Smith & Jones, and this is going to be huge for us. Keeping defences honest. Joe has the best offence around he's ever had, I can see a big difference in his confidence and poise.

Nice to see him assert himself with Cam. He's ready, take the training wheels off and let him throw.

Look at the Falcons offense last year. Matt Ryan Put up 4200 yards and 29TDs while Mike Turner rushed for 1300+yards and 10tds. I think that will be a very similar situation in Baltimore. Flacco will put up very respectabe stats (career highs) and Rice will still crack 1000 yards with ease, mabey not as many TDs but still be a top RB.

Joe Flacco could be this year's fantasy steal.
Agreed. He could easily be top 10 QB or better. 4300 yds/ 32TDs.
