Tank Carder gets cut by Bills and Vontaze Burfict makes the Bengals. Interesting.

That is very interesting. Ozzie, get Carder on our PS ASAP!

Greg Jones isn't a rookie. This is his second year. But anyway, I'm surprised the Giants cut him. I know he lost his starting spot, but they definitely still need depth there.

That was a bit of a surprise. But last year he flopped as a ILB and is undersized for OLB. But he still has room to improve.

Yeah it definitely was. My best friend's a Giants fan, and he was kind of upset. But yeah he did flop, and like you said is too small for OLB.

I like our depth at the offense skills position even if young.
However, I think we need as much depth as possible on defense with Suggs out.
Looking over other teams cuts I found these names to at least consider
Everette Brown DE; Lions (we need pass rushers)
Andre Fluellen DL; Lions (D-line depth)
Jamaal Westerman LB; Dolphins (3-4 backer with Rex Ryan experience)
Gary Guyton LB; Dolphins (3-4 Bellichek experience)
Dwan Edwards DL; Bills (coming full circle and adds depth)

Dan Koppen C; Patriots (interior O-line depth)

Any thoughts?

I think Antonio Dixon would be a good fit for this team. He didn't fit the wide-9 scheme in Philly, but seems like a great fit here. Also, we could really use a backup FS. Any decent ones out there?

Didn't Cooley say he planned on taking time off? I wouldn't mind having him especially in goal line formations. Also wouldn't mind Guyton. Didn't know he had been cut. Another good pick up would be Koppen. Helpful depth and intricate knowledge of the Pats.

Gary Guyton would be a good addition
I agree. Guyton is intriguing. Beats Kindle.

Just read on Rotoworld Bobby Carpenter got cut and we visited with James Ihedigbo today.
I like Ihedigbo, and he has starting experience. That would be a plus for our safety depth. Just say no to Cooley we have Pitta and Dickson

Terrell McClain was a 3rd round pick a year ago and just got cut by Carolina so they could sign Dwan Edwards. He is a bit raw but is a nice prospect as a 3 tech. I would be interested in him and could see a roster spot over Deangelo Tyson who could be sent to the PS.
