Not that I have seen so far. I have noticed Veteran Kickers getting cut in favor of Rookie Kickers across the league.

Not really. Most teams cut the expendable people: extra kickers, long snappers, quarterbacks, etc, who they don't need because they don't have 90 people who will be practicing at the same time. Those, plus some of the extra camp bodies who were just taking up space. Check back at the end of the week, and you'll see some decent choices. Keep in mind that a lot of teams will do what we did and stash promising projects on their IR.

Yeah right now the teams just cut whoever the know won't make it. Guys like Chester Stewart and that other long snapper, for example on our team. The roster is cut down to 53 on Saturday I believe, that's when we have more of a chance of snagging somebody decent off the waiver wire.

We should consider bringing Billy back if Tucker goes down just to cut him again and bring in Shayne Graham.

I don't see us bringing anyone in til the end of camp. Maybe some undrafted rooks we were looking at or linebackers other teams didn't have space for and maybe safeties.

Really? A guy that had the opportunity to come here when he was in his prime via trade and refused to do so. A guy that begged to play with his bro McNabb, got his shot and then bad mouthed him every chance he got. A guy that can't keep a job in the NFL or AL and is always misunderstood. Wow!

IMO I don't see anyone out there at this point. Remember, we still have to cut 22 players, or IR, or drop them to pratice squad

Sure, there will be some to look over Friday, maybe Oline, LB, DE, maybe off chance a Safety, but other than that, anyone of any real value will more likely be stashed away by teams in the same way we may stash Streeter, and who knows, Bajama after Thursdays game

Cooley asked to be cut so he would have the opportunity to start somewhere. While I wouldn't mind him I doubt he'd leave to be a 3rd string TE.
